I highly recommend Bean Moving & Storage. We moved from Mississippi to Georgia. We have moved cross country several times. This move was the best experience from beginning to end. Jimmy communicated with us throughout the process and was always available to answer questions and gave great insight into the process. Both crews were excellent! No damage to our furniture or either home. Our items were in storage for several months while we looked for a house everything arrived in perfect condition. I knew our belongings were in good hands and it took so much stress out of the process.

Moving & Packing guys did there job. But the communication is very bad. Called to get a ETA and was told it’s in route to my location and that it could be end of week or beginning of week. Still didn’t hear back from the previous day from when I called. If you have peoples personal belongings , especially if you’re still sleeping on air mattress for about 2 weeks , I would definitely keep that person updated. I’m totally in the dark about my things. And of course I get told excuses just to get me off the phone. I do not recommend these people at all if you are planning to relocate. It’s like monitoring kids. I will review again WHENEVER my things decide to show up. Update: 6/15 — Still have NO idea where my things are. Haven’t heard from anyone since Monday. I will keep this update going.

I absolutely loved this crew! So friendly and kind! Being a military family, we have made countless moves that typically take 3-4 days for packing and pack out. Bean and crew packed and loaded our household goods in a record time of 12 hours! I highly recommend them! Great job!

Terrible experience with this company. I recently moved from Jackson, MS to Columbus, OH after completing my medical residency. That is only a 12 hour drive, but I used a company since my new job would reimburse moving expenses. Bean Moving & Storage is associated with Atlas Van Lines which is a reputable company. I coordinated the move with Jimmy who initially was very helpful. They were on time for the pickup and for the most part packed my belongings well. They were supposed to have my stuff to me within 2 weeks at the very latest. It did not arrive until after 4 weeks. I lived in my new apartment with one patio chair and a blow up mattress for 4 weeks. I repeatedly called Jimmy to check in who told me the van had filled and he was looking into other options. Several times, he told me he would call me back the next day, but he never did and I had to keep calling him. Because it was so late, I also had to go and buy new professional clothing because I started my new job without any of my clothes. After my stuff finally arrived, I discussed with Jimmy how they would compensate for the delay. He said it would be reflected in my final charges, but it was not. They quoted me $3000-4000 based on how much I packed on my own and I ended up paying ~3400 for a 12 hr move of a 1 bedroom apartment of which I packed quite a bit on my own. I asked Jimmy if he could compensate the delay with a gift card which he stated he would send. I emailed him weekly for 2 occasions of which he responded it would be in the mail soon. The last email I sent him, he never responded to and I never received a gift card. I found him to be completely unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest. It is a shame, because I am a new physician who will likely have several moves throughout my career, but I would never use their service again. I was able to place a delayed claim through ATLAS. If you are moving, would not recommend to use the local moving company and just go straight with ATLAS or another large company instead.

items missing from my personal household items. they wrapped tiny "empty" jewelry boxes as an item unprofessional movers. slow. bedding on ground. several notable tools missing from container. rambling through items/photos stored in container. i would most certainly not recommend if you value your personal items and household things from being picked through before packed for shipping. absolutely never again would i ever have my household items trusted to them. just rambled through stuff! OFFICE STAFF JUST AS UNPROFESSIONAL DON'T RETURN CALLS PATRONIZE WITH EXCUSES! IF YOU VALUE YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS, INFORMATION AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY NEVER TRUST WITH YOUR BELONGINGS!
