I hired Big Dog Transport a hefty premium to transport my 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200 I did a legit circle check with the driver and him and I both found no damage on the bike in Beaufort SC Upon delivery in Massachusetts a week later I was overjoyed to see my baby!! When the driver unloaded and had it waiting for me the handle bars were bent, the handle put a deep dimple in the gas tank and the headlight faring and headlight frame where bent and cracked. I still was willing to pick up the bike but I had the original paperwork stating no damage and the driver wanted me to sign the delivery paperwork “no damage” or he wasn’t releasing the bike. I said keep it I’m calling the Police for a report of this bullying me into signing my rights away to a dispute and withholding property! Randolph Ma police said it’s a civil matter. Anyways I went to the owners million dollar home in Sandwich to pick up my bike and as a freshly discharged Marine he argued with me and basically told me my word was a lie. As a Veteran I’m telling you from the $650 transport charge think about another $500 insurance deductible when you use this company damages because Progressive is his Carrier and they wouldn’t even touch the claim because it’s the same company. I hope this company takes there “Support The Troops Decal” off. Obviously they don’t and I can attest to it. I seen the truck on the HWY last week and I’m new Google Reviews and I was like I’m still upset about it and it been over 10 years ago and I have to share my personal experience with new potential customers The driver obviously has an accident probably accidentally dropped it which happens but the man flipped the script on me as being someone trying to hustle a freebie transport and a young guy that stunted the bike like a “hot rod”. Stunt a Kawasaki ZRX 1200 %100 stock as 32 year old married man... yea ok. Anyway I had to get a ride to pick up my bike from a multi million dollar home on the water in Sandwich From Boston and talk to the owner, who just said I was in the wrong. This bad experience could of been solved with a new gas tank, fairing and headlight housing. Basically pennies to this guy, Instead It’s 2021 and here I am writing this bad review I should of written in 2012 to save other would be customers and other veterans from a headache

We had used Big Dog on 2 previous occasions to ship our car to/from Florida. The third (and our last) time was a TOTAL DISASTER from start to finish. Because we could not get a pick-up date before flying out, we left the car with my brother in FL who met the truck and handed over the car. No paperwork was completed by the driver indicating the condition of the car, mileage, etc. There was no communication initiated by Big Dog, the trucking company owner, or the truck driver. We called Big Dog and asked about the drop off day which was unknown. After 6 days after drop off we called the person who owned the trucking company and he did not return our call. Five hours later we called again in an attempt to learn when our car would arrive for pick up. We were told that the driver was in Florida and was ill for 2 days. On the 7th day, we got our vehicle. Unfortunately, this story does not end here. We were given paperwork when we picked up the car - little scratches were indicated on the form but no mileage. The owner left the pick up lot and we discovered the following things: black grease on the driver arm rest which was not removable with household cleaner, a used sandwich bag in the front cup holder, an unopened pack of cigarettes in the trunk, and a mileage meter possibly indicating more miles than when the car was dropped off. This was our 3rd experience with Big Dog and, sadly, we will not trust our car shipping needs to them in the future.
