Do NOT book with this company! I paid over $1,000 to move from a 2 bedroom into a storage unit that was less than 2 miles away with no packing. It was raining for about 1 1/2 hours the day of my move. They did not take off any money for delayed time for their employees. Toward the end of my move I got a call saying my card was declined. I said why would you charge my card without telling me the final amount beforehand. Secondly, I made it clear I was paying cash. The guy calling from Colorado tried to say because of the time difference, I couldn’t pay cash. No where on their website does it state that. When I was ready to move out my storage unit, it was packed unprofessionally causing damage to a few items. Sent pictures and was told it takes 90 days to process a claim. Causing me to have to purchase a new bed since mine was broken. I have no problem paying for quality and professional service, but this unfortunately was not it. In response to Black Hawk Moving AZ: I never once said I booked for packing. Everything was packed before your movers arrived. I mentioned it was raining causing your guys to move slower. A company with integrity would stop the clock or taken money off because of weather delays. Not sure where you all came up with the bed had prior damage from previous moves, because it was NEW. I have receipts for that. Also, my damage claim I submitted over a month ago has NOT been settled yet. So for this company to respond to a google review stating things I have not received first is very telling. The YELP reviews speak for themselves.

I am back! My parents recently got a place in Arizona and I have used Black Hawk many times so I of course used them again. As before all went very well they got a senior discount and my dad is a veteran and they got that discount too plus! one for using them so many other times. So by the time it was all said and done the move was so low priced I gave my parents a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant :) We were very happy with the overall experience the guys were joking around and being fun it was a blast and most people can’t say that about moving! Thanks again guys for making this another great experience with your company. I definitely recommend them for any moves you have! Heather

I just moved to Denver from Phoenix and used Black Hawk. It was a huge move for me and required their largest truck. I had them help me pack and put some things in my parents storage before leaving Arizona. Not only did they handle my belongings with care but they gave me a discount both for being a veteran and for using a multitude of their services. Everything was packaged carefully and I was pleased when I unpacked. I am about to use them to move some things that didn’t fit into my smaller home here in Denver into a storage unit. They will also be helping my boss move one of his office locations. I would suggest giving them a call for a move big or small. Thanks again for the great price and excellent service!

This was the worst moving company I have ever experienced. They charged me $1400 to move a two bedroom apartment. Took them 9 hours, half of the time they were tending to their pet dog that they brought. Also ended up with $2800 worth of damage to furniture. I submitted a claim and it was completely ignored along with all of my phone calls and emails to the company. Way to rip off a disabled veteran! Awful customer service. Also, I commented on their Facebook page and they blocked me! What cowards. They can’t even face their mistakes. They have had 90 days to make good and have done nothing. Disgraceful. Don’t advertise that you are veteran friendly, you clearly are not!

Thought the Black Hawk team did an excellent job for us. Short move, but they were professional, polite, and handled our items with care. Would highly recommend.
