We recently hired Brauns to handle our local multi-phase move, to include their packing and storage services. We could not be more pleased that we chose Brauns, and everyone we encountered from the time of the estimate to scheduling to execution has been lovely, efficient, and thorough. A special shout out to Juan and his crew who handled the packing and actual move—they were amazing!

The Brauns has excellent staff for moving and storage. Their attention to detail places them ahead of most all of the other companies.

We chose this company because of the good reviews and the very good first impression. The order consisted of packing and loading, transporting household goods and vehicles from the USA to Germany and then unloading and unpacking them again. The company wasn't the cheapest, but we still chose them. It's actually a very good shipping company, if it weren't for the small but significant annoyances. First of all, after the order was placed, the price was increased by $500, with the justification that the shipping company had increased the prices. If you can't check, you just have to accept it. The workers were very punctual and very friendly. When I pointed out to the foreman that he would have to dismantle a piece of furniture because it wouldn't fit through the door, the only answer I got was that they were the experts. I intervened when they started to remove the front door! In the end, dismantling the furniture helped. What was annoying was that I discovered too late that they had damaged the storm door during the operation, but didn't say a word about it. Although exact pickup and delivery dates had been set, I received information that the ship would be delayed. Today, Corona can of course be used as an excuse. Our moving goods were loaded onto another ship and reached the port in Bremerhaven 3 weeks late. The two transporters from Bremerhaven to our house were incredibly great. If there was the option to rate employees separately, these two would deserve 10 stars. Nevertheless, when we unpacked it, we were horrified to discover that an item that was important to us had been destroyed. This was not caused by the transport, but rather by improper packaging by the "experts". I then had the damage assessed and tried to claim it. Braun's succinct answer was: not insured. Although I had taken out transport insurance, I didn't know that Brauns also had to insure the work of its employees. For me the damage was around 1000 euros. What if a customer has a very expensive item packaged by such people? And this is exactly the reason why I don't give it more than 2 stars.
