Worse moving experience, please do not use Brightline Movers unless you want to end up paying more when your items are being picked up and delivered. I went over the items I was moving in great detail, taking measurements for Joseph phone. I guess that didn’t matter because when. the movers showed up to get table was. I needed to pay an extra $60.00. It may not seem like a big deal but the frustration comes from the inventory call and asking for measurements then I needed to pay more because Joseph with Brightline Movers didn’t tell them how big my dinner table was. The experience gets worse. The movers dropping off my items also wanted to charge me extra. I was already paying $75 to have my items delivered to the 3rd floor. I was only then told that you are charged per steps and not by the floor. To make matters worse it’s $75 after the first 7 steps. How is 7 steps considered up one floor. I told the movers that I was not paying any more than what I was already quoted. They then told me that they would leave all my items on the second floor for me to take up one more floor and into my apartment or pay $150. I didn’t have anyone to help me move my items so I told them all I have is an extra $75. They finally agreed to that. I dealt with Steve and Joseph with Brightline Movers they seem very nice and helpful on the phone. However they do not fully disclose everything you need to know. Moving is already very stressful, the least they could do is fully disclose everything and allow the customers to decide what they are willing to pay.

Think long and hard before using this company. I had a terrible experience with them. This is not a moving company. They are brokers. They hire two random moving companies, one for pick up and one for delivery. I paid Brightline 1/3 of the price I was quoted, and was supposed to the pay 1/3 to each of the other 2 companies. Unfortunately each of these two companies significantly increased their prices on the spot and I had no recourse at all but to pay as they threaten to not do the move if you don't pay. My furniture suffered awful damages as it was loaded and unloaded from my apartment to a truck, then from truck to truck/warehouse and then warehouse to truck and finally truck to my new apartment. Much of my furniture was damaged, and when I wanted to start an insurance claim I was referred to a "consultant" third party called CSI which analyzes and recommends to the insurance whether a claim should be paid. I decided not go through the process when their representative clearly said that the max they will pay per item is 100 dollars. The dining table they broke costed me almost 4,000 and the stereo system that never made it to my new apartment costed 1800. They also broke the frames of several paintings and lost two boxes with valuables. When I called Brightline to complain about the damages, they referred me to Safebound, who said they had no idea who actually did my move and that they have no way to control the quality of the movers they use. The last arm of my move was done by two young men in their late teens who clearly were not in any way professional movers. They showed up in shorts and T-shirts in a rented Penske truck around 4pm even though the elevator was scheduled for 11am. Aside from a hand truck, they lacked moving equipment. They unwrapped the furniture before unloading it from the truck, exposing it to bumps and scratches as it was unloaded and moved across the halls and elevators. When we showed the movers damaged boxes or scratched or broken furniture, they simply blamed the “other movers” (meaning the people who picked up the furniture where it came from) and said they were not being paid enough to do our move. I emailed Brightline this complaint and they didn't bother reply. But shortly after I posted it on Google, I received a phone call from from them offering me 300 dollars to take it down. Obviously I declined as I would not want this to happen to anyone else.

I hired Brightline moving and storage LLC for interstate move from NYC to KS. I paid $1439. They contacted/brokered with a the moving company Reliable Moving Services LLC. They picked up my furniture and personal belongings. Our contract had 30 days free storage and then delivery to Kansas 10-17 days after that. I paid an additional $1580 at pickup. Unfortunately until now I didn’t receive my shipment. I contacted Reliable Moving Services LLC numerous times. They stopped replying to my texts, emails and calls. The last time I heard from them was a 9/8 saying they are trying to find a rental truck to load my shipment. Due to the lack of communication, I do not know if my shipment is safe. I contacted Brightline moving and storage LLC as well since they were the original company I signed with but they did not get back to me. I just want my delivery can you guys please give me my belongings. Also here are pictures of the poor packing by the movers and the mess they left behind. Update: my belongings arrived late and completely destroyed. No reimbursement despite the insurance. They called and said if I delete this review they’ll pay me back the down payment. It’s not even worth 5% of the damages. I reported them to the BBB. Here are pictures. Save yourself and hire someone else.

If I can give zero stars I would definitely give them. Worst service ever. First they showed up late by 3 days. Had to postpone my flight because my stuff was not picked up on time. While picking up, inflated the quote by 400$. It’s been 2 months, still waiting for my delivery. Brightline subleased to Falcon moving LLC from New Jersey another useless company. None of the customer care people ever follows up with you. They will promise you that they will call back with updates, not even once I heard back from them. Worst service ever, and I’ll never go with them again. If you want to have some peace of mind, please don’t go with Brightline. ***Update to my above review. Finally our furniture was delivered today (8/28). It took 70 days to move from Ohio to Missouri. Today the delivery driver called us at 11 am today stating that he cant deliver furniture to our apartment as his truck cant come close enough. Despite me telling him multiple times that it was not true, he refused to deliver. Had to pick a near by walmart location, and hire a local movers to help me with the move. Ended up paying the local guys 400$ (they were great thought, even though it was a last minute call they did show up and helped us out). Judging by the looks of my furniture, I was expecting some damage to my furniture, but I was really mad when I unpacked everything. Every bit of our furniture was broken. Absolute disaster. One of my paintings and bar stools was missing. As my words wont do any justice, I have added some pictures below. Worst experience ever and I'll never ever go with Brightline/Falcon LLC again.

The 5 star reviews are FAKE! This company should be shut down immediately! They lie and tell you they are a moving company and they are a broker. They lied about when my things would be delivered. I was promised 7-10 days and it took almost 30 days. They broke half my things and charged me twice what I was quoted! These people are crooks! They kept giving me the run around every time I spoke with someone I got a different response.
