Bud Moving Company Info | Compare Moving Quotes

I hired two guys to move my stuff out of a storage unit, wrap my furniture, and load it into a U-Haul. Pretty simple. I had told them I wanted ALL the furniture wrapped and even brought my own plastic wrap for them so they would have plenty of wrap to use for my furniture. When I went to go unload the furniture I had discovered that they had NOT wrapped all my furniture. My West Elm nightstands, my outdoor table, and outdoor chairs were not wrapped at all. Worst of all they had scraped off the gold finish on my nightstands. When I called to ask about it I was told that their policy is that they usually don't wrap metal furniture (???). Okay, well I had given specific instructions to wrap ALL furniture. When I went to file a claim they told me the basic insurance doesn't cover scuffs and scratches. These are not scuffs and scratches. If I tell you that I had completely scraped the finish off the side of your car and then told you I had scuffed or scratched the side of your car, you'd have two totally different images because they're two totally different things. I would NOT recommend these people. Not only do they never call you back like they say they will, but they won't take accountability for their negligence.

WORST decision I have ever made. I stupidly hired this company to UNLOAD my belongings from my Uhaul trucks into the home my partner and I just purchased. After a nightmare of a closing, we trusted these movers to help get our items safely into the home. We felt as if we were in good hands because of their positive reviews and that they advertise as INSURED… From the second they arrived, two of the three guys were extremely rude! I cannot even begin to tell you how carelessly they handled our belongings. Dropping things, breaking furniture, dinging walls, scratching vintage wallpaper, dragging furniture along 100+ year old hard wood floors causing large scratches, and the icing on the cake, breaking the vintage stained glass window in our stairwell!!! These people caused so much damage to our home and belongings, I ended up calling their customer service halfway through the move to see what my options were. The furniture that was damaged was made by my partner’s grandparents and great grandparents, so most of our stuff dates back to late 1800’s/early 1900’s! At the end of the move, we ended up pulling the lead to the side and showing him other damages caused by his careless crew, in which he took photos of as well. I honestly can’t believe that a moving company could have zero care for peoples personal belongings, ESPECIALLY when they’re antiques and you can’t just run to your local big box store to buy another one! The only nice thing I have to say about this company is that Tia, the lady I’ve been working with to help get my items fixed has been wonderful. With that being said, it has been over two weeks, and the most recent update as of 7/31/24 was that the last time she submitted the request to the owner, he closed the case! Typically, I would just wash my hands of this, but the damage these people caused to our historic home, and antique furniture is so severe, it cannot be overlooked. This is my final attempt to have my damages repaired before seeking legal action! I am demanding the owner reach out to me directly to rectify this situation no later than 8/7/2024. My husband and I hired this moving company to help us move to our new home. We had some stuff in storage and in our current place, and they were able to grab all furniture from both locations. They were very efficient and moved fast. They quoted us very accurately to the work we needed to get done. The customer service over the phone was great and clear. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with the again once my husband gets relocated for his job. I’m extremely grateful for their help.

Bud company helped me move from Jacksonville, Fl to Greenville, SC. The most affordable company, I had the most amazing group of men to assist me. I couldn't find a better group of movers to help like Ron and Breon. They moved everything quickly as possible and a timely manner. They were amazing. Thank you Bud Moving company. I recommend 10/10

Ive used Bud Moving Company multiple times never had any problems until my most recent move. They arrived an hour and 25 mins late! We’re very professional moving the items from my home, but once they arrived to the storage unit they were VERY sloppy weren’t handling my items with care, throwing and dropping things 2 bottles of alcohol were also missing. I trusted this company and I am very displeased and will not use this company again.
