I rarely rate/comment on goods and services, but I’m thrilled to post feedback about CA-NY, and I hope they will share it with both of our NY and CA teams--the office staff on both coasts as well as both moving teams. I did months of research for a mover and was shocked to find myself consistently disappointed, if not horrified, by what I was reading online... Until I found CA-NY Express. This is no exaggeration, theirs was the only company that didn’t make me break out in hives. I did identify two other companies to interview, but we were praying that our initial Zoom with our NY consultant Bob would be successful, because I honestly didn’t feel 100% comfortable with the others. Our prayers were answered. Bob was a terrific, informative ambassador for CA NY, fully explaining everything we should expect from their company, as well as from any other company. We signed up with huge relief. And we were thrilled with every aspect of their service, from the office support to the guys “on the ground.” And throughout our move, their communications were superb: frequent and informative, and we loved getting the daily updates of the van’s progress cross-country. To top it all off, their pricing was extremely fair and transparent. I wouldn’t hesitate to let them know what aspects of their service they might tweak, but as my husband said, “They nailed it from top to bottom."

Moved from NYC to LA and we are SO HAPPY we chose CA-NY Express. They were amazing from end to end. Super helpful and responsive in all things leading up to the move, movers in both NYC and LA were incredibly respectful and did not leave a single scratch on either apartment, and everything showed up on time and undamaged. We packed our own boxes and they wrapped up the furniture. I see some reviews mentioning hidden fees - we moved from a 4th floor walk-up and there was an additional fee for the extra stairs, which I think is more than fair. Highly recommend - they're worth the cost.

Terrible. We hired MoveEast for our west coast to east coast move. We packed the boxes ourselves and only had their team move 1 piece of large furniture, a leather couch. The west coast movers absolutely destroyed our couch before it was even loaded onto the truck. They jammed it down our stairwell, causing the frame to break, leather to tear in multiple locations, and ALSO caused damage to our building. I notified the MoveEast team immediately, who insisted I waited until the items arrived in NYC to confirm damage. As expected, our couch was destroyed when it arrived in NYC and MoveEast offered minimal assistance when we tried to recover damages. I would not recommend their services.
