Worst moving company I have ever seen. I made a mistake and chose to work with this company for my move from San Francisco to New York City. Things went wrong in so many ways. From the day of moving the movers arrived late. They were really unprofessional and had multiple fights among themselves. Then after 12 hours of packing they asked me to pay $3000 extra since the estimate was incorrect which led to another hour of them just holding the elevator in my building and not moving until their local dispatch and the sales person who provided the estimate agreed to charge $2000 extra. Next they asked me to pay additional $500 to provide an exact date for delivery of the items. None of these were disclosed during the initial calls. Then when they arrived I have multiple damaged furniture. All the damages are caused by negligence of packers. For instance armchair leg was not removed, and during the move it was broken due to pressure. Or the handles of my dresser wasn’t removed and all were broken due to pressure. All the boxes were 1/3 empty which explained tje additional cost they wanted to charge me. All lamp shades were broken because they didn’t wrap them at all and just was dumped in a box. The damages of just the large items is more than $5000. And the company is offering their basic insurance based on cubic footage to cover $150!!! Even though this is clearly a job not properly done. I have been waiting for more than a month to hear from their supervisor in customer service but he’s been out of office and somehow the company only has 1 person who can help!! I chose this company because my colleagues recommended and they had good reviews. But stay away from them. I absolutely do not recommend them.

We were so nervous about moving across country, but these guys made it stress free. We went down the rabbit hole of horror stories online: so we just hoped for the best. To our surprise, these guys are legit professionals. They took care of us, made sure we weren’t stressed out, and all within reasonable pricing. For a typical one bedroom from NYC to SF with one month storage, pick up up five flights, delivery up one flight, we netted out at about $3300. We tipped well. We took the additional insurance for peace of mind and that business was great, too. They were straight up with us the whole time about cost, and even extra wrapped things for extra care. Best part? NOTHING BROKE. not a single glass. It was worth every single penny and I highly recommend these guys.

I used CA NY Express Movers to move from Orange County, CA to Hudson County, NJ. I was promoted and slated to start in the NY office within two weeks. Needless to say, coordinating a cross country move in that amount of time was STRESSFUL. This company made it relatively painless! Very easy to navigate and clear communication every step of the way. The team who loaded my belongings in CA and unloaded in NJ were professional and personable. My dresser did not survive the move, but all in all I was more than pleased with the experience. Will definitely be using them again!

Absolutely amazing service! Bob Stevenson was a great help breaking down the process and pricing. The day of move was so smooth, and the team new exactly what they were doing. There was no difference in quality of service once we arrived in LA. I’ve moved many times in the last three years and have had some awful experiences, CA-NY Express, however, was not one of them. I was so impressed from day one and I will be using them exclusively moving forward. Thank you again!

Incredible customer service. Honest, thorough, transparent, reliable. They came when they said they’d arrive both with pick up and delivery. They were always happy to help. Prices were fair and my delivery from LA to NY arrived in 12 days. I couldn’t be more pleased with professional the company is.
