Cantor Brothers really screwed the pooch with my parent’s move a few years ago. And I do mean BADLY. We hired this company for a container move from Kona to Oregon. Pick up of the full container was made and supposedly transported to Kawaihae and then put on the ship for the slated shipping for that week. When our container could not be located, Cantor was contacted who said the container had been shipped. A call to Matson however, revealed they hadn’t even received the container yet. An investigation uncovered the truth- Cantor hasn’t delivered it to the port at all. The container was still sitting in their truck yard. Long story short, the delivery of the container was delayed two weeks due to this company’s ineptitude. Understandably, you’re going to have a pretty angry customer when this happens. The owner, Paul Cantor, had the audacity to threaten my parents about their missing shipment, and the lies they’d been telling us stating “Do you want your container or not?” Not customer servide oriented. Inept and unreliable. Would NEVER recommend. We’ve lived on Big island for over 40 years. Hey Cantor, if you’re reading this, no fo’get, “Hawaii is a small town”. You treat your customers like this and word travels!

Cantor makes it easy. Call, they pick up that day or the next, allow me to drop off if i need, and send the bill with reasonable rates. Simple, easy, quality!

Competent company but watch out because they will totally screw you on the bill if they think they can get away with it. Charged me $2,600 for a 30 minute fork lift job that I was originally led to believe would be a $450 job. I will NEVER use them again. Crooks to the highest degree. Get any estimate they give you IN WRITING!
