First of all Brent, from the beginning, communicated and was very clear in all aspects of the transaction. We had a $100k machine coming from The Netherlands, and he took charge and even drove out to the delivery sight to make sure all was good. The day of delivery, he and his team: Chuck, Nate, and Brad, all made sure the machine was as secure and delivered like it was their own. Highly recommend Brent and Carey Moving and Storage!

The absolute worst experience! I have moved many times- across states. This was a heartbreaking experience. The movers broke antiques, dropped boxes, failed to load the truck properly and seemed clueless. But worse yet I cannot get the company to pay for the damage - or even call me back. Pitiful. Unprofessional. Disgusting. Sad, but it seems I will have to file in court to get any resolution.

* Update* Instead of responding to my emails (which I did over a month before posting this review) or follow up via phone Cary moving decided to report my review as Spam! This is my first google review, but I can assure you I am a real person! We recently used them to pack a u-haul we had. Their quote was on the high side, but we really wanted a professional crew to pack the truck for us so our items would arrive in good shape. We got blankets and straps like they told us to, but most of them were badly placed or not used at all. The crew was nice, but their rush to get us taken care of was shown when we went to close the door of the truck and items they had stacked were so high it blocked the door so they then had to repack part of the truck. On top of that when we arrived and the moving crew who was unpacking us found multiple items damaged or completely broken. I wrote to them to tell them about our experience and I got an email saying they were shocked and would look into it. It has now been over a month with no communication from them not even a basic apology. Overall a very disappointing experience.

I paid for professional packing! What I got was things thrown in boxes, smashed damaged lamps, damaged furniture, missing items, rude behavior, and extremely unprofessional! I would gladly post photos but didn’t have the option!

My first experience with Carey was 28 years ago. It was a positive experience. I decided to use them again with an out of state move from SC. I used their website to request an estimate. Two hours later a customer service rep called me to confirm date and time for the estimate. We needed a pack and move for a two level 4BR home. The prices was what I expected. Annette helped us coordinate the dates and time. Communication by phone and email were excellent. Additional packing supplies for our own use was provided at no extra cost. Carey packed one day, loaded and transit the next. Within 24 hours delivery date was confirmed. Everything was on time with phone communication so we could prepare. Nothing was damaged. After the move I needed a zero balance invoice. It was provided same day. The packers, loaders, driver Kenny and office staff - went above and beyond taking care of us and our things. I would highly recommend Carey to friends, family and any customer needing excellent movers.
