We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Carson Enterprises while building our pool. All of their team members have been professional, responsive, and delightful. Derek, Josiah, and James handled slight bumps in the process with thoughtfulness and expertise. We are in the finishing stages of the pool and landscaping. We can't wait to swim all summer long. We have been extremely satisfied customers of Jake Foutch and Carson Enterprises since 2011 when he completely redesigned our backyard landscape which won him the 2011 Backyard Challenge landscaper competition. That redesign included replacing a large, failing retaining wall with a three course waterfall complete with fire bar and lighting accents. This was augmented with a natural stone staircase and bridge and an expanded lower patio, sunken fire pit with surround seating, and connecting walkways utilizing flagstone pavers. The hardscape was further beautified with over 100 trees and plants placed in terraced gardens reinforced with large boulders. And the landscaping upgrades didn’t stop there. The front yard also received a small permanent, self-filling water pond to support a four-tier fountain, soft landscape lighting, and expanded plantings of bushes, flowers, and trees. In the fall of 2015, over 1000 tulip bulbs were planted in preparation for a spectacular colorful display for our daughter’s wedding the following April. Also in 2015 the front driveway was upgraded to concrete pavers to tie into the backyard hardscape. Since then the professional crews from Carson Enterprises have maintained the gardens each spring with clean up, garden edging, and mulch distribution. They tirelessly assist us with snow removal in the winter. They have problem solved and corrected a few landscape challenges such as recurrent water washout on the side yard from heavy rain. Now, a dry river bed with strategic boulder placement and plantings slows the water runoff to prevent erosion. Their professional expertise goes far beyond the routine landscape design. We have enjoyed our relationship with Jake Foutch and Carson Enterprises and will continue to rely on their services for many years to come. We bask in the numerous compliments that we receive from many neighbors and passersby. When the front fountain and the back waterfall are restarted after a long winter, many people comment on its beauty and serenity. Many have referred to it as a mark that Spring has returned. The waterfall has a relaxing, calming effect. It soothes crying infants and provides a nice backdrop for a nap in the hammock. It is a sanctuary for many small, wild animals. It has been a backdrop for many impromptu family and couple photos for both us and strangers walking the trail behind our property. During the pandemic, the waterfall once served as a backdrop for a pastor recording his televised Easter sermon to his congregation. Carson Enterprises has transformed our backyard! They have been incredibly timely. In fact, most of the project ran ahead of schedule. We also had plenty of updates from Michael and Josiah. We had a challenging rain storm this fall and they were attentive to what needed modified. We got a lot of quotes prior to starting this project and their prices were at goal for us and we have been pleased with the work. Lastly their work crews have been great. They were polite and cleaned up each day; I always felt safe with them around and most importantly they worked hard!

We contracted with Carson Enterprises to do a pool installation and some extensive landscaping work associated with a new home build. They were extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. During the planning phase, we made numerous changes to the plans and Jake was always quick to get us updated drawings so we could visualize our revisions. Since this was our first time doing anything associated with a pool, Michael took time to make sure we understood everything associated with that part of the project and that in the end we got what we wanted. Derrick and the landscaping crew made quick work of the project and were always responsive when we had questions or concerns. We're extremely happy with the way things turned out and are constantly having people ask us who did our landscaping. We never hesitate to say, "Carson Enterprises"!
