I hired Carters Hauling to move some cardboard materials to another location. The cardboard had to be stored overnight in one of their box trucks, and delivered the next day. The associate came to my house to load, and was very courteous, and professional. The materials were delivered the next day, on time and at a very reasonable cost. Update: The owner did end up calling me later to offer his apologies and a discount for a future rental. He also explained it had been a trying week for him - didn't try to make excuses, just to give an explanation and apology. Props for owning it. Carter's Hauling in a word: GARBAGE! Response time? GARBAGE! Communication? GARBAGE! Customer service? GARBAGE! What you'll be stuck if attempting to use their service? GARBAGE! I scheduled a dumpster rental 2 weeks in advance. "Sure, no problem. Text me your info." Is what I was told when I called. Texted but received no response. I sent a follow-up a few days later and got a response assuring all was well. Just after noon the day before scheduled delivery I sent another message with drop-off instructions... radio silence. Another follow-up message sent in the evening... no response. And you guessed it, day of - NO DUMPSTER! NO COMMUNICATION! Straight up ghosted by this clown company.
