Cannot recommend them enough! Moved me from Marshfield to Rochester MN, and it couldn’t have gone smoother. They were quick and efficient, but careful and very kind. Can’t beat the price either! Even with some hiccups on my end with timing, they adjusted easily. I’ll happily recommend them to all my Marshfield friends for short or long distance moves. Thanks guys!

My daughter moved to Marshfield on Saturday 8/12/23. She called to schedule to have this company unload the uhaul for us in May of 2023. We told them we would be there at 5pm and were told no problem. We called on 08/3/23 to confirm everything was set and the woman who answered the phone said yes. On our way to Marshfield on 08/12, we called to let them know we would be arriving early at 3:45pm if they wanted to get going early. The woman said ok great, I’ll let them know. About 10 minutes later (approximately 40 minutes from Marshfield) a guy called my daughter and said they were not coming because they had things to do. My daughter explained that she had booked this move back in May and called to confirm and just talked to their employee and that we had to return the uhaul. The guy was rude to my daughter and told her that the weekends were his only days off and treated us like we had done something wrong. They literally left us with no options an hour before we were supposed to move. I have never experienced a level of unprofessional like this in my life. If you don’t work on the weekends, why accept the job? Do people in Marshfield not move on the weekends because that’s when the rest of the country moves. If you needed to do the move before 5 (we were there at 3:45pm) not say so when we booked and not accept the job or call during the day or something other than call us 1 hour before you weee supposed to be there and say you weren’t coming. Terrible!!!!!!

PROS: punctual, professional, personable, accurate, quick, and I had unbroken and undamaged furniture CONS: It was moderately difficult to set up an appointment and obtain an estimate. It took several emails and messages to set up a move date. I was quoted $1100 for 5 hours and 3 people, the move took just under 4 hours (80% of expected), and I was charged onsite $1145. I questioned it and it was mumbled mileage was missed (about 18 miles one way) and it was indicated I’d get a receipt sent via email. I left two voicemail and sent two emails with still no reply 2 weeks later. I cannot share whether the company is incapable of providing accurate estimates, dishonest, or incapable of doing math. Regardless it makes them undesirable. WOULD YOU USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN? No. While the movers were good quality, the nontransparent and illogical charging made them low value. I abandoned a second move I had them pegged for and went with a competitor. Local competition is very limited, but were high quality and high value.

I need to tell the whole story for the bad review on here. We arrived on time but couldn’t move our truck into place because he had four vehicles in the driveway and it took him over 20 minutes to get dressed and move all four of his cars. So being ready for us at the specified time is huge for this reason because all said and done it took 25 minutes just to get in and set up to start the job. Then at the new location he had a couch that wouldn’t fit into any door to get it into his house. So we talked about taking the whole patio frame out to get the couch inside then carefully putting the patio surround back in and he thought that was a good idea. We charge hourly and always have and he knew this but still wanted us to go ahead with our plan. If anyone has ever done this they know it is not easy to do, so are estimate was off of course because we never expected to do this and him not being ready reflects on the bill also.
