Dr. Marx and his front staff are very rude and unprofessional. Dr. Marx has been dismissive to me on more than one occasion. For example, I visited him for neck pain due to a possible neck injury. He told me I was making the pain up and should work on my stress levels. I will never go back to his office again.

When we received a LAB bill with a crazy amount, we were trying to figure out what was wrong. I called the insurance, and they said that no LAB work was submitted. I tried to ask Dr. Marx's office for a copy of the LAB work, NO BIG DEAL- patient file information, or so I thought. I was treated with the most disrespect by Dr. Marx. They dropped the ball! We did not have any business with the LAB of HIS choosing, and it's a third party of his choice. We came to find out that as Dr. Marx sent the request, their office did not provide any insurance information in the request. Dr. Marx, I am BUSY as well and should not be chasing any information about your incompetence in running a medical office. In my opinion, if you had done the LAB request correctly, to begin with, there would be no billing error. We were 100% covered. Dr. Marx, YOU may need a TIME OUT, YOU are stressed out! Next time you send a patient to get a LAB work please do it right! Be KIND! Don't hang up on people it's RUDE! :)

I has the pleasure to work with Dr. Marx as a PA in his office! He is not only an incredibly supportive MD to his entire staff, but he is truly involved in the care of every patient: even when a patient is seen by the PA (who covers the afternoons), Dr. Marx will look over EVERY lab and chart himself. Nothing over-bearing; he just cares about what his patients need and what they come in for. Always a great teacher; fast office visits; a spectacular physician overall. As an employer or as a primary care doctor, would HIGHLY recommend.

After my doctor of 26 years retired, I decided to try Dr. Marx. His front office staff is polite but not what I would call friendly. Dr. Marx Seems to be a qualified Doctor,, but did not have the time or desire to get to know me. He rushed me through a basic exam, lectured me on 1 of 3 medications I was prescribed by my previous family doctor and immediately wanted me to run through a battery of tests before he would see me again. I found him to be rude, abrupt, and discourteous and I will not be returning to him. Though I am certain he is a competent Doctor, his lack of bedside manner left me underwhelmed. I will say that his physians assistants are lovely and knowledgable, but I would not recommend him as a family doctor.

Dr. Marx was recommended to me by a specialist that I like and trust. My prior doctor had retired. I have been very happy with his care. He is responsive to questions and concerned about the big picture. No long waits in the office. Cost conscious. I would recommend him.
