They came with a big truck, big enough to move all the junk that was in my garage. It just had a bunch of trash from over the years that needed to be thrown out. It did cost me about 1k to hire them which I thought was too much. I've hired people to throw more out for $600. But the men that came to do the work were so sweet and so funny! But a little overpriced. Good service overall

They came, they saw and they conquered! Two confident and able young men carried out several pieces of furniture without a grumble. Then one grabbed the old gym canvas punching bag and it left the basement while his partner asked if there was anything else. Would absolutely love to be able to give Aaron and his movers 10 stars if possible! Can not begin to express my extreme gratitude. Had to move my 90 year old mother, with a definite short notice, into a nursing home. This left me emptying her two bedroom, attached garage, leased patio home with the same short notice. I live out of state, came in for this move, having a window of a week. Was donating everything, had different charitable organizations lined up to pick up items. The company scheduled for the final pickup literally never showed! This was on a Saturday evening at 5 PM! Needless to say I was near panic as was to be heading back to Illinois Sunday evening, latest Monday. So not sure if divine intervention or what, but scrolling Google around midnight and found Clean Slate, with Sunday hours! Reached out within a minute of opening and had a text reply from Aaron within another minute. Everything forward was the best! Constant communication, he even called me directly since I was so anxious with not having "human contact" with the company that never showed the day prior! He was in constant communication, keeping posted on times, details, worked out that the neighbor would let them in...all allowing me a return to Illinois and not having to spend more time in Shelbyville. They are truly the best!! Professional, caring, polite....this company should be the ONLY one you consider if you have a moving and/or junk removal need!

I have used Clean Slate twice in the last 12 months. What has been great about this company is both the clear communication from Aaron in advance of the pick up, and the people who come to your home to remove the items. Aaron has a good team who represent the company well. The employees who have been to my home were friendly, efficient and professional. I definitely plan to use Clean Slate again. A++
