We were extremely pleased with the Senior Helpers team. My father could be quite difficult, often refusing to even let his helper for the day in upon arrival, but the various caregivers persisted, communicated with us about his behavior and what they felt he needed, and were able to keep him safe, fed, and happy at home for 7 months before he moved into assisted living. Once there, one of the team members continued to see him weekly to look after his personal needs and take him for social outings, to help keep him from feeling trapped, lonely, or depressed, as well as taking him to doctor appointments, and she did so with genuine care, compassion, and kindness, advocating for him, and regularly communicated with me about what she felt he needed so that I could facilitate that. We recommend them highly, and thank them for everything they've done to help my father and us through this challenging period.
