I have high standards when moving as I am very particular about keeping my items in excellent condition, so I did extensive research on movers in the CHS area. I called over 20 companies and between professionalism and pricing I went with Cougar - and I’m glad I did because they did not disappoint! Taylor was very responsive during the quoting process and answered all my questions. He immediately rectified a small issue and went out of his way to make it right. Ivan and Daquan were top notch, they hustled and were extremely efficient while making sure to be gentle with our items. They ensured we were 110% happy before wrapping up. It’s really hard to find people who take pride in their work these days so the Cougar team is really refreshing. We’ll be returning customers for sure!!

The team we had on Saturday 8/31 was amazing! Wrapped our couches and tables up very nicely, all our boxes were treated with care, and they obviously take pride in what they do. They were very communicative — they got stuck in traffic (Charleston on Labor Day weekend so no shockers there) and they let my husband know right away. Obviously not their fault about the traffic and I like they told us and kept in touch. I love that as a CofC alumna I got to support a business founded by CofC alumni! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs moving!

Very efficient communication prior to the moving day, including the paperwork, the estimate, and the time of arrival. When it came to the actual move, the unloading was immediate after I gave directions on what was going, however my roommate was told his worn mattress was gross, that the team was "pissed off" that they had to work under such unhygienic conditions and they drove off with a number of heavy pieces sitting on my condo sidewalk. We were given a great recommendation from a neighbor who moved twice wth Cougar, which is why I made the reservation leading up to my move. We were set to close that day and we had to postpone closing to the next week, rent a Uhaul and move all of our furniture ourselves - the very thing I planned to avoid because we have back issues. And because we were moving over the weekend, we lost our reservation with the cleaning crew and had to deep-clean everything to professional standards last minute to satisfy the buyer. I don't think I've ever left a negative review, but since this nearly jeopardized the sale of my property, I feel compelled to share my experience.

I used Cougar Moving for the second time recently, and they were fantastic. Punctual, professional, friendly and efficient. My pre-move communication was with Luca, who was responsive and helpful. The day of the move, Taylor, DeQuan, and Colby were wonderful. They arrived on time, carefully moved my possessions, and were finished much earlier than I anticipated.
