Below is a list of services that were promised to me in a legally binding verbal agreement and/or in a written contract and were not delivered: 1. The most basic service of having our stuff moved from one place to another was not fulfilled. Over half of our furniture was left in our apartment due to a lack of space in the truck. 2. The inventory specialist we spoke to misquoted our cubic feet allotment by over 600 cubic feet. Not only were we charged an extra $3,000 for the “wiggle room” we were promised, but we also left over half of our furniture including a mattress, bed, several shelves, bikes, and multiple boxes. There was also an additional “long carry” fee that was not quoted to us in our initial agreement. Our binding verbal agreement stated that “if you choose to use us as your moving company, you will not be faced with extra charges during your move.” 3. Upon our agreement in using this service we were promised a delivery date that was not fulfilled. I understand your written contract says something different, but we were assured verbally that even by law it would only take up to 5 moving days. 4. We were not connected to a reputable moving company. This company was hacked and all of our personal information was compromised. The weekend of our move there were a series of phone calls with misinformation regarding when our movers would be there and how to know if they were not impersonators. Once the movers arrived, they did not begin moving our things until three hours after arrival. They did not communicate to us what was happening while they were there. I reached out to the emergency customer service line multiple times and no one was available to tell me if this was safe.

This was my first time using a moving company for a move. I had my reservations about it because I had heard so many horror stories from my friends about experiences they had with other moving companies. However, for my long distance move, I had no other choice than to use a moving company. I picked Countrywide Relocations based on their reviews and wasn’t disappointed. I originally spoke with Jason in sales who was very patient with me as I expressed my fears and used his knowledge of the moving industry to explain the moving process step by step to me. Joab in quality assurance helped me assess my packing needs and went over every item I was moving to make sure I had no surprise charges on moving day. Lastly, Tiffany in customer service answered all of my questions, including those about pickup and delivery dates, very promptly. She remained very polite even though I probably called her about a dozen times. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The moving cost was markedly underestimated, then when the movers come they give you a new cost which was thousands of dollars more than the estimate. When I tried to reach the person who "sold" me on using their company to complain, the telephone numbers I had for him were no longer recognized. At that point I was concerned this was a scam. The moving company they recommended was not professional and damaged some of my furniture.

This company and their marketing have MISREPRESENTED the COST and ARRIVAL DATE in order to obtain my business. It's been 28 days and ALL IN ONE MOVING AND STORAGE AND COUNTRYWIDE (their broker) have not moved my items and will not give me a date for when they will begin the move. When the movers arrived they attempted to increase the rate by $800, even though all of the item where listed in the quote correctly. The company would not answer the phone to resolve the issue. I was told 5 to 8 days with the quote. After most of my belongings had been loaded onto the truck, the movers produced a new contract for me to sign which increased the delivery time to 14 or possibly 21 days. It has been 28 days since the pick up and the shipment still has not left the warehouse to make the 5 to 8 day trip. They currently will not even give me a date for when the items will be transported. I am calling the police to report over 15K worth of household inventory and electronics as stolen. I hope the police will help.

this was a long but overall GOOD experience! my only advice is, that as customer you need to figure your final cubic feet in order to avoid disagreements with the local moving broker assigned your inventory. They tried to make my items look bigger, so the volume at up extra for them. Also make sure you fully packed and wrapped with lots of plastic film all of your boxes. I had mines kind of smashed, at least the ones that I did not fully packed. For the rest of the moving items including my fiber carbon bikes; everything was delivered without any issues. Delivery time from Colorado to Florida 14 days.
