Nice housing for first year college students. Provided many simple things that help teenagers grow up and succeed in there college years. Good food, nice facilities, and friendly staff. A little pricey, but thats to be expected when it comes with all it has.

Food in the dining hall is really good. The food is far beyond the quality of food at chico state. Lots of options. They will cater to special food requests and dietary restrictions. Friendly staff and a great salad bar.

Great location in Chico! Walking distance to Chico State and to the bus stop to Butte. Loved my RA Lauren, she was very accommodating and personable. Dining hall and pool were also a great bonus!

Where do I start? TLDR: Just about the only thing great about this place is matanance. Don't live here, especially the apartments, if you can afford somewhere else. They conveniently took down all the 1 star reviews too. Mostly my problems lie with management. Since before I signed my lease, and up till my 8th month living here, I was told by management staff and RAs both that if I had problems I couldn't resolve with my roomates, I could start mediation and roomate agreements proceedings with the RAs. I live in the apartments, so I knew it was more free living than the doorms, but I was reassured every time I would have support. When it got to the point my roomates were threatening me with harmful violence and I asked for help, I was told in no uncertain terms that I wasn't getting any help from management or the RAs. I was left to confront my roomates alone, who I was afraid of, with blunt truths. The thing was, that during all this, I saw them giving a tour to a prospective leaser, and the woman handling the tour, one who told me they wouldn't help because I was in the apartments, told them that management and RAs would help if any problems arose with roomates if they chose to live in the apartments. Their process of selecting roomates is a joke. While i was in an apartment for four people, one left two weeks into the lease. I think she knew what was going to happen. I am a quiet person and was looking for a place to study and hang when not in class. I got stuck with two people who proceeded to ignore the fact that I pay to use the kitchen and living space as well as my room. They proceeded to tell me, eventualy, that I basicly had no right to use the common area and kitchen while they could. They were up till 3 am partying the weekend before I had a final, and I couldn't study. Everytime I told them I was taking a final, they would give me the evil eye and reluctantly be quiet. I could hear one roomate through my EAR PLUGS. Not headphones mind you, but acctual ear plugs meant for sleeping. I also think I got stuck with the rejects of the applicants. The food here is a joke. While it was good at first, I started to get sick after the second semester started. It got to the point I just stopped eating here. It's also so over priced for the quality of food served. Go to Taco Bell and get a cravings deal. Don't bring an expencive bike, there are so many thefts here I got a camara. Also, I asked that the security lights be looked at, and they never were. All but one is off on the sides of buildings. About the only good thing here is matanance. They are quick to resolve any problems that come up and you put an order in for. I wish I had listened to the other reviews on here before I signed my lease. I'm not a disgruntled 20 something, I'm 33 years old and know my value and what rights I have to live in a safe place. Considering the veiled threats from one roomate to stab me, I urge people who read these reviews to know what living at Craig is really like.
