D1 Moving, LLC was phenomenal! Antonio and his team were superb! They smiled and laughed and had the best attitudes. I highly recommend them. Everything was safe and secure. They moved me from a 5 bedroom home to a 3 bedroom townhome. I could not recommend a more successful moving company, at all! Thank you!

This is an ongoing review and will be updated as needed. The crew that worked with me was very friendly and communicative. No complaints on the personnel. Cleaning out my old house, i have found 3 significant damage spots. I will be reporting this for a claim and will update as needed. Two spots are hardwood floor damage through the clear coat and gouging the floorboard beneath. The third is major door frame damage where the finish from the piece is rubbed off on the wall. As i communicate with the company I will update this review

Very positive moving experience start to finish. Initial pricing indication was accurate. Very responsive team at the office that provide good pre-move tips. My 3-person team on move day worked HARD. All fragile items were carefully wrapped and zero damaged items during the move. I would absolutely use D1 for my next move.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly First, I will start with the good about our experience with D1 Moving. Of all the moving companies I contacted before our move D1 was the only company to come out in person & see our home with all our belongings. This was important because we are in our 60’s & had lived in our home for 28+ years. I knew we had a lot of stuff to move even with all the cleaning out/donating I had done. Timing was not good but I also had 2 surgeries around the time of our move which I informed our salesperson Rusty about when he visited. I knew I would not be able to help much but would try to pack as I could before hand. Rusty came out & saw we indeed had a large home with lots of stuff. He provided an estimate which came in about the middle of the 4 estimates we received. We felt the pricing was fair so contracted with D1/RCS to complete our move. Rusty even came back another time to see how the progress was going on packing & what would be needed. He felt like we had made good progress which was a relief to me because I still felt we were very behind. Unfortunately, Rusty had forgotten to look out in the garage & most of the closets where our realtor & a cleaning crew had stuffed all our boxes & misc stuff when our original buyer’s contract was voided because their relocation orders for the Army had been rescinded. This pushed our original move date back about 10 days. At the time we were assured the delay was not a problem. The bad. Crew manager Antonio (who was great!) showed up on packing day & immediately realized he needed more people to help with our move than himself & his coworker Justin. After going through the house with me Antonio called the office asking for 3-4 more crew explaining the job was much larger than he understood. 2 more crew members were sent. I get a call from Rusty who is asking me what’s going on-how was there that much they needed more crew? I told him there was a lot of packing/items to move and that his crew was working hard. I didn’t know what else to say as I am not a professional mover. I felt like Antonio was the one to really know what is needed as he is the one who does the packing & the actual moving. I believe Antonio kept asking for more help but didn’t get it for whatever reason. So now, the ugly. D1 had planned to pack us Wednesday then move us Thursday/Friday. Friday after lunch Antonio informs me there is no way they will finish that day. We were supposed to be out by 5:00 PM on Friday. 5:00 comes & the moving crew has to be done for the day. They haul away what they’d had finished packing that day and planned to finish unloading Saturday, which is extra time. Unfortunately there was still a lot of our belongings left behind which had to be moved. My husband, our son, our realtor AGAIN, plus two neighbors worked most of Saturday clearing what was left behind while I am receiving the truck at the new house. Even after all the work Saturday we still had some things to remove on Sunday because there was not enough manpower or vehicles to get it all. To say the whole process was exceptionally stressful & complicated is putting it mildly. We paid D1 almost $8,000 for our move plus we ended up paying an additional $600 to our buyers for not being out of the house on time. So just under $9K later and we still had to do a good bit of the moving ourselves because the job had not been planned for properly. As much as I appreciated Rusty coming in person as well as how hard Antonio & all his various crew like Justin & Austin worked, I can’t say I’d recommend D1 again. I can’t say for sure where the problem was. My husband & I were feeling like moving failures until our daughters reminded us WE are not professional movers, it is THEIR job to know what is needed & how much resources it should take to complete the job since they do it every day & we do not. I know there are moving jobs where moving companies have to pack & move everything in a home. This shouldn’t have been an unfinished job, or a badly planned one. Just keep in mind if you choose to use D1.

I recently used D1 Moving and Storage for my move, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The team was extremely professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. The entire process, from getting a quote to the actual move, was seamless. I highly recommend D1 Moving and Storage to anyone looking for a reliable and stress-free moving experience!
