I have used Dave McCarthy Moving plenty times within the last 10 years. We used them when we sold our first home and moved into an apartment. Then we used them to move into a house we rented while we were building a home. He then moved us into our build. We needed him again to move our Mother into her condo. Those are just a few instances within the 10 year period. There are too many moves to count! Always professional & never had any issues. Nothing has ever been broken. None of our furniture was ever damaged. I highly recommend and in fact I always refer them to everyone we know! Dave, I’ll be calling you again soon we have another move coming!

Personal, very experienced and professional - Dave impressed me even before I met him by taking the time to drive out to my new house to understand the layout and stairs. He then drove 3 hours to meet me and follow me around the home I was leaving after 20 years while I pointed out what goes and what does not. He is smart and very well organized. His was not the lowest bid, but it was very fair and there were no surprises on the back end. Working with someone with so much experience and a solid work ethic was very important to me. When it came to the week of packing and moving -it was all made easier by the confidence his team inspires. Chase, Daniel, Cory and Joel all work well together and Dave is right in there with them. They are not 'day labor' but professionals who understand not only how to pack (and UN pack) but the care for finer furniture, art, rugs, taxidermy, tchotchkes etc. They are attentive to detail and pointed out to me a number of 'imperfections' in either my old furniture or decorative items. Some I was aware of (like a broken book end or the not quite secured tabletop) and a few others I was pleased that they noticed and took the time to be more careful with a piece that was already fragile. Needless to say, there was no damage to any of my prized possessions during this move! Dave and his team also understand the organization of a home (where boxes and case goods go on the final end) as well as how to properly lay a rug and handle furniture. Even an easy move is stressful to the homeowner and they are very patient and thoughtful. I was very pleased with their service and highly recommend David McCarthy Moving.
