I have 2 children seeing Dr . Mercado. He’s professional and kind. Other young receptionists are nice and having good manner but the senior lady is always rude and talking like scolding people. It wasn’t my first time she yelled at me through the phone but many times. We try to avoid talking to her because we like the doctor but hopefully we will never have to communicate with her at all.

Dr. Mercado himself is a fine pediatric doctor and you can count on him to take care of your children. This review is for his staffs especially the receptionists. She is nothing but a rude person and I unfortunately talked to her twice on the phone trying to schedule my son to get a flu shot. She was acting like she is not happy to work there. This is what she said " appointment? When?" " I said 'when?' " the other time was like " no flu shot appointment now! Call back next month! Then hang up the phone" I will not take my children to the office to get that kind of attitude. I'm sure she did that to other people too. Please if you don't want to get scolded for nothing. Don't come here

The staff was friendly enough but after waiting for an hour to be seen we ended up leaving. No toddler wants to go to the doctor, let alone have to wait for over an hour to be seen, and especially with a newborn and toddler in a few months we decided this practice wasn't for us. We will be taking our children elsewhere.

Unparalleled care. My kids both love Dr. Mercado. He has been so dedicated to their health and well-being, including multiple visits to the delivery room when my youngest was born, far too many weekend and middle-of-the-night calls (always with quick responses and an undeserved patience), and follow-up calls after illness visits. He has called ahead to expedite our trips to hospitals and his staff is always well-organized and professional. We are so grateful for his practice.

We chose Dr Mercardo as a pediatrician for our newborn daughter. He has really good bedside manner and he is gentle. He himself answer the phone calls and schedule his patients on a timely manner. Overall, we’re glad that we chose him as the dr for our child.
