We are grateful for Davie Shoring’s outstanding work in lifting our house, and we are delighted with the results. Davie Shoring’s people were responsive, reassuring and informative, and could be depended upon to supply answers to our many questions within 24 hours. The staff, managers, crew chiefs and workers were professional and courteous, particularly the dig crew, the concrete crew and the plumbers. We want especially to praise the concrete crew for their punctuality and dependability, arriving at our home usually by 7:30 a.m. and often not leaving until 5:00 p.m. or later. These were the guys who noticed that both we and our elderly golden retriever were challenged to climb the first set of temporary stairs they built to the front door. When they built a second set of stairs to a different doorway, they made the grade shallower to accommodate four human and four canine knees – all of them elderly. This change in the rise of the stairs made a significant difference to us and our dog and was done completely on the initiative of the guys who built them; we made no mention or request of them. Bravo! Once the work began it proceeded swiftly, with very few delays or breaks, other than those caused by weather. It was a relief to stay elsewhere for only three nights out of the three-plus months from start to finish. We appreciate that Davie’s workers and drivers preserved the trees outside of the stated four-foot work perimeter. There was some occasional lack of clarity about which of the strangers working on our house were Davie’s employees and which were subcontractors, but this shouldn’t be an issue for your consumer. When we had questions about how or when things were being done, we simply wanted reassurance, not to lay responsibility – much less blame -- on Davie vs. someone else. Also, repairs after the relocation of the electrical work involved some re-shingling and some caulking of holes rather than re-shingling all of the affected area of our roof; we were less than satisfied with this outcome. We are beyond thrilled with the final product of Davie Shoring’s excellent work. Even the passers-by tell us, “It looks like it was always that way!” Truly, we couldn’t be happier with the way the house looks and feels now, five feet and three inches closer to the sky.

Their warrenty is worthless. My house dropped 5". They sent Vernon to my house to measure how far it had dropped according to his meter. He said it was only down 2 3/4". After I informed them of an engineering companies reading, they never returned my calls. Yes,they were the cheapest.
