Overall, moving from Syracuse, NY to Boston, MA with Delaney Moving & Storage (through United Van Lines) was a positive experience. We were under a pretty tight time crunch due to a job offer with an early start date, and Delaney was quick and courteous to help us with our move. Art did a virtual appraisal/inventory with us, and was kind and warm on the call. He returned quotes with various dates and services at our request, allowing us to chose the package that would work best for us. Cheryl was warm and extremely responsive throughout the process. Our new apartment complex had some very strict rules regarding delivery, which made orchestrating the delivery of our items a bit difficult, but David in Dispatch was extremely helpful. On the morning of packing up, the movers arrived ahead of schedule, and quickly and efficiently packed up our belongings. They were friendly, and also great with our rescue dog who can be a bit wary of strangers. Delaney was able to move and deliver our things to Boston the very next morning! We were not there to personally oversee the delivery (my spouse's parents were there to receive our things while we drove to Boston) but according to them, the process was smooth and professional. Some of our items sustained minor cosmetic damage (eg. some cheap plywood furniture is now missing a corner, and some of the items got a bit scuffed) but nothing too terrible. Delaney/United Van Lines would definitely get our business again in the future: they made a very stressful situation a lot smoother and pleasant than it would have been otherwise, and provided a good professional service.

Great experience from beginning to end. Was on a bit of a time crunch, and they responded to emails and had me signing papers before most other companies even responded. From the lady in the office settling up the move, to the 3 gentleman that did the move(efficient,fast,friendly..you name it. Dudes need a raise!) I have nothing but praises for this moving company. Hopefully I don't have to move soon but if I do, I know who im calling!

My family and I used Delaney Moving & Storage for a move from Syracuse NY to Georgia and it was the best decision hiring this company. From my first conversation with Art, to me constantly calling Cheryl with my many questions, to the guys who showed up on our move day, carried everything and took care of all our belongings. I say THANK YOU. You cannot go wrong with this company. They truly care about you & wouldn't just treat you like a number. Moving is already stressful but they take the stress away. Cheryl is amazing, she reassured me many times, called to check in to make sure all was going well. Just book them, you wouldn't regret it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Delaney Moving & Storage. My company used them for the second time this week for a corporate office move and it was absolutely flawless (as was our first experience with them moving our corporate headquarters). Art, Dave and the entire moving team are some of the kindest and gracious people you will ever meet. And when I say they hustle, I mean they HUSTLE. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

The movers made everything very easy and packed/moved things efficiently (including some of the big and bulky furniture I had). They kept me updated about what was going on too, which I appreciate. Would recommend for those in need of movers in the greater Syracuse area!
