Dr. Ramirez is fine. His office staff is horrible. Not helpful and certainly not friendly. Even though I like the Dr. I will not hesitate to find another if his employees continue to be, the best description is RUDE. I will go elsewhere.✌️

Dr Ramirez has always been attentive, informative, and is always willing to do more with regard to seeking additional information and opinions. He’s caring and concerned. Yes, at times he isn’t as accessible as he used to be because he has more patients and well- that’s a good thing. It means that he’s a good doctor and people know it- admittedly it’s sometimes inconvenient for me. But, who’s really available 24/7 these days between work and family? Communicating with office staff through Epic: MyChart is extremely useful and provides quick responses for when I’m not quite sure as to what I should do: appointment or ER or just wait it out. It’s the knowing what to do that brings peace and comfort and he does that. The bottom line is, he’s caring, attentive, and I have found him to be extremely thorough- because he cares, and allows time for questions and additional guidance. He’s just a nice man- and he shares his office with his spouse who is also a doctor. That says a lot about them as people and medical professionals.

Dr. Ramirez and Shelby are amazing, but unfortunately the front desk staff are rude and not helpful. I went in today for an appointment, and was told that I had an outstanding balance of $187. When I asked for details, the person at front desk put a bill in front of me which just had an office visit listed, which is usually a $20 co-pay. When I asked for more details, she simply repeated what was on the bill. I was then told they would not let me see the doctor unless I paid the bill. The front desk manager then got involved, and stated the same thing. She did offer for me to pay a portion so I could see the doctor, and when I said that i would pay the $20 co-pay, she refused and stated she was just doing her job. I informed them that their third party medical billing had submitted the claim incorrectly, and was in the process of re-submitting to Cigna. Unfortunately they could not get in touch with the billing contact at that time. This is horrible customer service, as I have always paid my bills on time, but they were adamant that I could not see the doctor unless I paid something. Unfortunately their lack of customer service has prompted me to find a new doctor. Dr. Ramirez & Shelby, if/when you read this review, please know that I have the utmost respect for both of you...but your front desk staff needs some serious coaching!

I love the fact that Carlos Ramirez MD doctor's office will re -open as soon as the holiday hours and we will have a doctor's care as soon as the office is family friendly and. Covid-19 safe 😁
