Horrific experience. Rarely answered phone calls or texts, usually only if they were wanting to get money. Attempted to charge us for twice the amount of cubic feet we used in the U-Haul truck that they brought to our house. They do not use their own trucks. We paid $1543 for packaging supplies. They literally showed up with dirty used boxes along with some new ones. The moving guys were very unprofessional and did not know how to pack anything, but were friendly and helpful when they finally showed up. Did not give notice of 48- 24 hours when they would show up for delivery also. When they finally did give notice, the owner of the company called us and told us that we would owe another $386.00 when the driver would arrive. This was totally outside of our written contract. We ended up paying the driver the extra fee because The owner would have taken that out of the drivers pay. The workers are being overworked and underpaid. if you make a claim for broken items, the workers say that that will be taken out of their pay also. Unable to plan our life for literally months because of no communication to us. When we finally did have our things delivered many things were broken, dirty, and smelled like mold. We just want to forget about this awful experience and get on with our lives. However we do not want other people to have to have the same experience. I will not waste anymore time dealing with this company. Goodbye DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY,

THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT. We contracted with Moving APT for our move from Colorado to Georgia. When the movers showed up it suddenly was DG from Texas and the boss was from New York. The price went up 700 dollars and they threatened to hold our processions hostage. They claimed that the items were over the cubic feet but never gave us weight slips and never gave us a receipt. They were completely unresponsive-we had to constantly call them and I guess that irritated them, because at one point they threatened to hold our goods for 21 days. When the movers arrived they didn't answer the phone at all. Stay FAR away from this moving company. It is a scam.

Worst experience ever! I’m missing items and SEVERAL things are broken and damaged. I gave the company many many times to make it right but they refused to call me back. I have texts, emails, pictures and recorded conversations to prove it. They were assigned to me through Pricing Van Lines. Don’t use this broker either. I was promised services that I did not get and was told they would come practicing covid safety protocol. When they came without masks I asked about it and was told “if you don’t feel safe, go outside” - in MY OWN HOME!! I’m still trying to find my missing things and get compensation for things that I was charged for that I didn’t receive. The driver that showed up at both pick up and delivery was unprofessional and disrespectful. I was told by the owner that this was his 7th chance (who gets 7 chances??) and if he didn’t perform he was out. What company sends a 7 time failure into someone’s home? I felt so uncomfortable. During booking and after several hours of going through my items, piece by piece, I was charged for an “exclusive truck” and “platinum packing”. I paid $1785 for a full pack and ended up doing over 90% of it myself. When I brought this up to the owner, he told me it was my word against the drivers. I told him that I wrote my name on every box I packed so I could tell how many I did. He said “to bad”. During the loading the driver loaded my items very loosely and then at the end of the evening told me if I wanted the rest of my stuff I would have to pay for another truck and an additional night for his services. I refused and ended up getting a uhaul and delivering the rest myself. I am out thousands of dollars for this. Please, please don’t make the same mistake I did and get this company. 1/26/2021 - at this point, I cannot even file my insurance claim because DG refuses to send me my inventory list! I asked for it for over a month and Mike would tell me he was going to send it but never did. (see texts included).

WE moved from Texas to VA with this company. They showed up with a truck that was too small for our household. They packed everything they could fit onto the truck and then when the truck got to our home in VA all the items were NOT there. WE are still missing 8 items of furniture, we had damage to some of what they brought and they told us they would not unpack us without signing papers they provided. They didn't tell us all the items weren't on the truck until after we had signed. Do not use these guys. They are now blocking our calls and will not return phone calls.

Worst Moving Experience I've Ever Had Contracted with a company called Pricing Van Lines to move from Atlanta GA to Madison, WI. Pricing claimed to work with movers who consolidated moves onto trucks (I understood as semi-trailers) who could provide a discount if giving a sliding date window. After signing on with Pricing, 'Kenny' from DG Moving called on a Saturday and told me he could pick up but would require cash. I told him that that was not going to happen. DG showed up on the last day of the 'window' period at 3:00 PM with a 26-foot rented U-Haul truck (definitely NOT a semi) and loaded until midnight (I wasn't present as I was already in Madison). They then informed me that they would not unload unless they received an additional $750 plus a $154 'credit card' fee. Didn't have much choice but to pay if I ever wanted to see my belongings again. After unloading, discovered that they had left several major items behind - a washer/dryer set, an outdoor gas barbecue, a couple of bicycles, and an air compressor, to list what I am aware of. Would never, EVER do business with these people again. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the TX State Attorney General's office.
