EDIT: LOLLLL at their response to this review! they didn't have to open any of the boxes because none of them were shut to begin with 😂 post the pics you took y'all! i dare you! if you can look at the ones i shared and say you're proud of that work then that's all your customers need to know My husband & I originally hired ABC movers but judging by the charge on my credit card which says Do It Right, I assume this is the company they sub-contracted out (without telling us) so leaving my review here as well. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! We were moving from a 500sqft 1bedroom apartment to a 3-story house. We booked for packing and moving services. The 3 movers they sent were inexperienced, slow, and unprofessional. So many things went wrong: 1. They did not finish the job. After 6 hours of packing we saw the cost going up and up and told them to just start moving. Never in my life have I seen movers take so long with such a small apartment. So much stuff was left behind - not just in our apartment but they left our bedding in the hallway. They left a bunch of their trash in the apartment. 2. They did not bring enough materials. They used boxes they trash picked from our alley which you can tell from my photos. They also used our paper towels to wrap things. 3. The packing job was horrendous. My handmade art was put below pots and pans. Boxes had LOOSE KNIVES (again see photo), unwrapped glass, open food containers that spilled everywhere. The boxes were in many cases not taped shut on top, so they could not be stacked. They were barely taped on bottom so things were falling out as they were being carried. 4. When they arrived at the house they said they didn't know it would be 3 stories. I don't know how this is possible because it was required information in our quote/contract. They complained any time anything had to go to the third floor and kept saying they were tired. 5. They are going to say I got an attitude with them and once you see the photos you'll understand why I did, but also they said I wasn't helping them which is also false. My husband and I were carrying things out of the truck and up the stairs ourselves because at this point the move was on hour 8. Again, I have had movers do a 1-bedroom in the past in 3.5 hours... If they knew what they were doing it would not have taken this long. 6. They broke so many things. When we went back to the apartment to get the rest of our stuff we found a broken vase in the closet that they didn't tell us about. They broke a leg off our couch. We had to throw out so much stuff because of how it was packed. My husband's water pik got foaming bathroom cleaner all over it because nothing was wrapped. 7. They took a piece of furniture that WASNT OURS from the hall in our apartment building and we asked them to bring it back and they never did! 8. We have been trying to get a refund from ABC and they have been so unresponsive. At first they said they would refund us half which we thought was unreasonable because it took twice as long as it should have, was not complete, and resulted in so many damages. They then called back and said they were now offering us instead $300????? It doesn't matter because I'm working with a lawyer and my credit card and I'll be getting this money back but the awful customer service was the cherry on top. 8. The movers were arguing the whole time which made everything slower. Check the pictures and decide for yourself :)

The name of this firm lives up to their name. Their complicated and sensitive assignment was to relocate a senior and handicapped gentleman. The staff members were careful, efficient, strong, and professional. Some of the items transferred were fragile. Do It Right Movers heartedly deserves a Five Star recommendation.

It took them 12 hours to pack and move a 900 sq ft apartment. We were supposed to have 4 movers. We had 2 for the 1st hour and the another one came a hour later and then another one came 2 hours later! We had to pay them 3,000.00. The young guys took lunch and was smoking weed. They never completed the job. This company should NOT be called “ Do it Right Movers”. They should be called "Do it Wrong Movers"!!! I give them ZERO stars.

Use caution and do not use this mover, we fell trap to the price and the hours that were quoted to us. They don’t have Any of their own trucks but hire a uhaul and send 4 sub contractors to you, he himself is a contractor and not an owner, we ended up paying for 9.5 hours as the guys were slow and unprofessional. Very very slow and on porpoise taking time to generate more hours. Did damage to the house and never completed the work either. We paid them $2660 and then this guy asks for another 400 for the rental truck fees. We refused and he threatened us by saying I will see you in court, we had to file a police report ourselves about the matter, when I sent him the pics of the damage he states that I did the damage myself.

I vetted many other companies and I’m glad I went with Do It Right Movers. They were best priced and also responsive and flexible to meet my needs. The communication from management was thorough and it was very professional. When the movers came to move my fridge, which was a monstrosity, the movers took special attention to not damaging it or scratching it in any way. Nothing was damaged in this move. They were receptive and not offended if I made a suggestion which as the customer is important. The move went very well and they didn’t unnecessarily take more time than they needed to, rather they wanted to ensure everything was working in the right order and satisfactory before they left. I plan on using this company again and have already referred them to a friend who will be moving soon. Thank you for your exemplary service! You guys were great!
