Dowell’s moved my family from Victoria BC to Calgary AB. Adam was great, gave us wardrobe boxes and was a great communicator. They unloaded our 5 bedroom home on a Tuesday and delivered our items on a Monday. They were professional and friendly. Mike the driver was great, he was kind and worked incredibly hard. I would Highly recommend this moving company.

Not super impressed. Adam was great. He assured me the job was straight forward and his team would have no problem completing the task. The team was sloppy, disinterested in the work and displayed a less than professional demeanor. My onsite staff helped hoist the cabinets as the Dowell's team were "not into carrying them up the stairs" as Adam had laid out in his quote. In the end everything got moved, but I have zero confidence that any of it is in the correct order. Two stars might be generous.

Couldn’t have had a better moving team. Our driver Mike was great, well organized very friendly and patient. His crew during both loading and delivering were great as well. Always ready to do what we requested while being friendly and professional. They stored our belongings for a month and nothing was damaged so you know they took care of our belongings. You get what you pay for and this team delivered!!

Move out went smoothly. The guys were friendly, professional and fast. Move in was not great. Guys were inexperienced, 2 of them very young with little to no English and very slow. One dropped and broke an antique mirror. My turntable was carried in upside down and rattled with loose parts when I turned the box right side up. I contacted the office and was instructed to file an insurance claim for the items, which I did. That was in June of this year. It is now August. All of my emails and phone calls since have been ignored. I'm now filing with small claims court.

Good morning to all... Now that I have a moment to take a deep breath, I want to express my appreciation for the splendid job Dowell's did on June 18. As you know, relocation is a stressful time, particularly so for seniors such as myself who tend to allow the imagination to run at full gallop and anticipate what can go wrong rather than what will go right. In my case, all went right, thanks to your three-person team of Kord, Chris and Cody. The lads were earlier than expected (a positive development), they were pleasant, engaging and professional, and seemed to genuinely appreciate my efforts to organize my belongings with movers in mind. On top of all that, they took less than three hours to perform the task, so the bottom line on the bill was less than the estimate. All considered, a fabulous effort by your lads. Truly admirable. My friend Lucy and I couldn't have been more pleased. So I thank you and assure you that I shall recommend Dowell's to any and all who inquire about moving/storage companies.
