**UPDATE #2: Owner called and is trying to have me return the truck!?! I live on Long Island I am not paying tolls because you people illegally sold a truck without a title. How convenient three weeks later paperwork was rejected because the reassignment is missing ?!?! This is beyond getting out of hand. My case with DMV will be re-opened and I will be pursuing further at this point. Offering to pay one car payment is not going to make this go away nor is it enough for the amount of damage you have caused. This dealership is FRAUD!!!!!! and now I am driving around in basically a non registered truck. **UPDATE: After DMV went down to Drive Time Autos, I spoke with the owner who apologized and promised me a month payment toward my truck - this was three weeks ago, NO CHECK in my mailbox still. Also, NO PLATES when I was told they never received the title and that there was an issue with it, well they still don't have the title but hey, gave me another temporary plate that expires in two weeks, really nice right? I told them I would update this review when their promises were kept and well they have not kept up to any promise next step will be to contact DMV again to re open my case, and to follow up with a lawyer since they keep dropping the ball. Coming from someone who has been in the car industry for 12 plus years, this is horrendous!! **** unhappy is an understatement with everything that has transpired with this used car lot. Purchased a pre owned vehicle from here, prior to purchasing there was codes in the system one being the thermostat and I was promised they would replace it as there is no way this truck would pass inspection being the code would throw a check engine light -here I am two months later with the same code, fans don’t turn off even with the truck off and the temp gauge inoperative. I feel like they cleared the codes and lied claiming they replaced the thermostat when more than likely they didn’t . I was shown no proof they even replaced it - I am also driving around with expired temp plates that expired end of July trying to get ahold of Ricky is next to impossible. He doesn’t call or text back for weeks feeding us lies that he was overnighting another temp plate never followed up as to where my plates are. I am next step to filing a complaint with motor vehicle I have had it ! You cannot legally allow someone to drive around with expired plates. Did you guys even send the paperwork in?!? Nothing was overnighted to me- another lie! Also another bait and switch when trying to buy this truck they lied and said a deposit was left on it yet we had friends and family call these people and ironically truck was available. Oh they also tried forcing an extended warranty claiming the bank wouldn’t approve the loan that’s actually illegal too trying to force a warranty. Another bad taste left in my mouth. I will now be filing a complaint that the truck was sold to us and not repaired as promised and to be allowing us to drive around with expired plates. Completely unacceptable!!!!! Coming from someone who’s in the car industry for 12 years I’m disgusted. Stay away from here.
