A Great Moving Company. This moving company made my moving experience so stress free. They were professional and very respectful. Both movers were very friendly and curtious. They completed the job in a timely manner. They were able to accommodate my needs fast and accurate. They were on time and gave me hour by hour detail of their every move. They worked in 104 degree heat and never complained nor did they even take a break. The price was reasonable and much cheaper than other movers that inquired with. I would recommend this moving company to anyone. Jackie Martinez

This company is horrible. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from them as possible. I cannot say it strongly enough this business is disreputable and their over the phone "quotes" have no basis in reality. They have no regard for their customers and have zero ethics. Originally my wife was quoted 4-5 hours for our move including a drop off at our new place and storage. This was based on 2 movers and our just moving our furniture and pre-packed boxes. The company's dispatcher/office manager/customer service person Linda claims my wife is lying and she remembers quoting her 7-8 hours though she couldn't recall the size of our home and Betty had made the original quote not her. So on the day of the move and blissfully unaware of the pending cluster that we were getting into we happily waited for the movers. Two gentlemen showed up in a large truck. So far so good. The young guy, Zach was a powerhouse. Young, motivated, friendly, and completely fearless about lifting heavy objects with no regard for his back or knees without any safety equipment, back support, or help. The old guy Sean was his complete opposite. Grumpy, lazy, unfriendly, and a complete waste of space. I will spare you the details of the majority of the day and just give you the highlights. Zach pretty much did all of the moving solo for the first 3 1/2 hours. Including couches, mattresses, table and chairs, bookcases, boxes, etc. Where was his partner Sean you ask... good question. He started complaining of a migraine about 20 minutes into the job and disappeared into the truck. According to the company he was strapping, blanketing, and organizing in the truck. I question this since Zach apologized again and again for Sean saying this had never happened before and Sean was not feeling well. After 3 1/2 hours I explained to Zach that I did not feel Sean was doing his job thus causing us to rack up additional time. He spoke to Sean who proceeded to actually come back into the house and start helping. The downside of this was that he was continually swearing and cursing at me and my family under his breath but loud enough for us to hear. Had they not already had the majority of our furniture on the truck I would have fired them then and there. As it was it took them another 45 minutes to to "finish." And by finish I mean I had to cut them off and leave some items in my house that they had been contacted to move because we had already exceeded their original estimate. It turns out it was a good thing since Sean did a piss poor job of "packing" the truck that there would not have been room anyway. I even had to load a few boxes of necessities into my truck. At one point Sean said that they were "off the clock" so we would not be charged for a portion of the time, didn’t happen. They made it to the house and we just had them put the majority of the stuff anywhere to save time. Sean was actually helping and things seemed to be progressing so I left the house and went to storage to prep. After I left Sean immediately went back to the truck, stopped working, and left the rest of the unloading to Zach. They finished up at the house and eventually showed up at the storage unit where both of them (my being there and watching them seemed to motivate Sean to actually do his job) knocked out the remainder of the unloading. Needless to say we were charged for all 7 hours that they were there and a few undisclosed charges. Zach was a rockstar and was totally worth the price. Sean was deadweight and I estimate he was actually working about a third of the time we were charged for and that is being generous. I contacted Elk Grove Moving and Storage on Monday and spoke to Linda. She stated she would talk to both Sean and Zach. I waited until Friday for a response before calling back and she was not available so I left a message. Not surprising I did not get a call back. I followed up the following week and happened to catch her. She stated that both Zach and Sean denied everything thing I said. She refused to do anything further. Surprise surprise.

Worse company I ever used in my life. They promised it was going to be delivered on the 18th it’s been almost 1 month after the promised date. They always say they will call me back or that it will be delivered this week. I’ve been hearing the same thing over and over. Arthur and Paul are the biggest liners I ever met. I’m making a complaint to FMCSA. Hope they get shut down.

Worst movers ever. Damages stuff, over charges and late delivery. Avoid at all cost.
