We used Ellis Moving & Storage to move our belongings out of our apartment...then 6 days later...right back in (had HW floors redone). Shawn and James were extremely helpful, offering a number of options for us. We chose to have them take our furniture out, move to storage, then move it back in. The crew were awesome! Very professional and knowledgeable. They disassembled beds, etc, then reassembled everything. Not a scratch on anything. And done to budget! We cannot recommend Ellis highly enough!

Planning a cross country move is a daunting task to say the least! I chose Ellis Moving to assist me and they certainly relieved my anxiety. From first visit with James for an estimate to Shawn in Dispatch preparing all the details to the great efficient team of movers - Everson, Bernard and Shay who packed and moved all my household goods with respect and care, and good humour - I knew I was in good hands all the way! I highly recommend Ellis Moving for professional quality service you can trust and rely on.

Overall, we had a fairly positive moving experience with Ellis. The two moving guys Jorge and AJ were very friendly, professional, helpful and careful. AJ and Jorge did an excellent job overall and we were very happy with their service. HOWEVER, the communication from Ellis head office was terrible. We booked Ellis 3 weeks before our move date - we had a bunch of questions and some moving parts in that time period. We tried calling and emailing Ellis 6-7x in the last week (during normal business hours) before our big day and they didn't answer or respond back. It was quite unprofessional. We were quite anxious about things related to the move and we couldn't speak with anybody from Ellis corporate to ensure everything went smoothly.

I can't recommend Ellis Moving enough. After speaking with so many larger moving companies, it was refreshing to find a smaller, responsive and professional company to deal with. All of the staff were helpful and so nice. It was honestly so easy to deal with them. All of my stuff arrived when they said it would and nothing was damaged. The movers were extremely professional and organized. Do yourself a favour and stop getting ridiculous quotes from sketchy moving companies. You can't do better than Ellis. Would highly recommend.
