We are regular customers and have always had great service across the board. I was very disappointed in our last visit. There were 5 employees 4 who are relatively new. We placed our order at 1:42 and received it at 2:08 after customers who ordered after we did. That's never happened before and the length of time so long I thought they had forgotten us. We had time to watch and listen to other customers who had to ask for forgotten items or orders that were not correct. Wrong bread, lettuce instead of sprouts etc. Staff was courteous and apologized to each customer before and after correcting the situation. I overheard a staff person explaining that she was the only one fully trained and Sundays seemed to be the time when they were getting similar complaints. Sounded like she was running the store as well as making sandwiches . I would recommend that if Sunday is the day that is giving them problems perhaps another trained staff person be in on that day as well until the new staff can catch up on training.

I was really looking forward to what had been described as wonderful. It was not. We called in our order then had to wait in a long line to pay. My butternut squash soup was really watery, IF it had any butternut squash in it I would be surprised. There was no explanation of what came with our orders so I would have gotten more had i known that sandwiches did not include chips, or anything. I will not go back.

I have been going to this place for 10+ years never had trouble until today ???????? The lady. Stated she was the manager. Went to Erik's for my Sunday lunch was sitting in the patio I was on Facebook watching a video when the manager and a small group started to complain about my video sound was to load I turned back and apologized the manager said said some people dont care about outher, I went to get a refill of my drink when I came outside the manager said harshly you need to get a fresh cup caint you Reed I said sorry didn't see your sing I proceeded to sit and she kept repeating you need to get another cup so I tossed the drink into the trash now I asked for another cup the manager said you have to leave now I said you people are wearied this is the cottle road store

I love Erik's, but we couldn't see it when driving along the Alameda, so we went to Ike's instead.

Love their del monte sandwich. Staff is sweet but doesn't always get the order right. That is ok. The good is good and fresh.
