On contacting Family Moving to move us over 100 miles last year, we explained that our possessions would be placed in storage for 6 plus months. I specifically asked if my mattresses would be covered and protected, explaining that they would be in storage for a lengthy time. I was assured they would be and they weren’t and covered in dirt! When I contacted someone about it, I was chastised about it and the blame shifted upon us!!! We also discovered when moving our stuff out of storage last week, an antique curio cabinet’s leg broken, probably due to the fact of it being pushed and lots of weighted boxes placed on top! A freezer door broken that will not close now, because it wasn’t properly stored!!! Also, boxes clearly marked FRAGILE-glassware-antiques plates on bottom of storage unit with boxes labeled BOOKS on top of them, which anyone would KNOW that Books are HEAVY!!!! Needless to say, I have found broken things!!! I am so very disappointed especially since I researched movers after having a bad experience with All My Sons!!! You clearly state that you handle with care my belongings like they are your OWN!!!! Clearly that is NOT the case!!! Also, the majority of our movers were teenage boys! For future reference, Do Not send boys to do a man’s job!!!

Using Family Moving for our move was such a fantastic experience. Setting up the move was easy and price was highly competitive to other movers. The crew was on time, very polite, extra careful with all of our furniture and boxes and worked effectively to get through the move without delays. They did a fantastic job. I even referred my mother to them. Everything was wrapped really well. They took great care to make sure nothing was scratched or damaged. They arrived when they said they would. They even stored a four bedroom house worth of furniture until my new home was ready for move in. Highly recommended.

We used Family Moving twice in the past 6 months and both times they have exceeded our expectations! Super accommodating, friendly, professional and incredibly efficient. No matter how difficult or complicated your move, they can make it work. Would absolutely use them again should we need movers!

Probably the best movers I have ever had. They worked me in last minute, and coordinated with me prior to showing up on moving day. They were very professional, diligent, and efficient. I could tell they truly cared about the well being of my things, as they wrapped pretty much anything and everything. Also very decently priced (they were offering a spring special when I moved, which was a great deal). Hands down though, I would highly recommend Mark and his sons. I've had some bad experiences with movers in the past, but Family Moving was not one of those times. Will definitely use them again for my next move!
