I like to think I'm an agreeable, laid back person. This being said, the movers who came to pack were absolutely incompetent. Jennifer, the grand daughter of the owner (who made sure to tell us that often), was in a horrible mood and only smiled when she was leaving. She complained about how much she despised working here several times, informing us she has lots of job security so she doesn't care and boy did it show. She was not friendly and I felt very uncomfortable when she was in my home. She had a very negative energy. They sent along with her an elderly man whose name I did not get but we were told he was retired and only worked from time to time. He started off quickly but after about an hour he slowed down quite a bit. When they first arrived, he chose to pack the kitchen and we told him three times not to touch anything in the cabinets or drawers as we would be taking them with us. Some of these things were important, such as our pets rabies tags and harnesses. Alas, he packed them anyway. Upon realizing this, we asked him to check the boxes for them. He opened one box, took the paper off the top, looked into it (everything was already in packing paper so there was nothing to see), and said "Well, it's not this one so I don't know what to tell you." I didn't know what to do so I said nevermind. A few hours later I got the courage to ask Jennifer, who shot me a nasty look, put her hands up and said "I'm not going to deal with this" and walked away to get the other guy. He opened one more box and they were right on top. Many of the items he packed were unorganized despite us separating items for them. Living room decor was put in with utensils, bathroom decor put in with the bedroom stuff, etc. Rather than asking us to toss the wax from our wax burner like he was supposed to do, he just threw it in a box on top of some containers and it melted; this is literally the reason why their "no candles or wax" rule exists. Our desk was disassembled and the screws were stripped as if they just pulled them out carelessly. Four of our things were not given number tags, which not only caused us frustration, but the other moving companies who had to work with their lack of competency as well. Jennifer packed our bedroom and one of our nightstand drawers (a new, clean set) was jammed off the track and it took a lot of man power to figure out how to get it back out. She threw wheels from our furniture into a huge box with loose clothing that took forever to find. It took them over nine hours to pack our small apartment and they had to return the next day to finish for another two hours. We had already organized mostly everything and prepared well for them but it still took them a very long time. We even bought them breakfast which they refused (I get it, you're not hungry, but at least say thank you.) We tried very hard to make their day easy and comfortable but received nothing in return. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because most of our stuff arrived in one piece. These people work with the DOD to move military families thousands of miles away and I can't imagine how they would have treated our things had we had a bigger home. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Never again.

I came in touch with this company because they are the contractors of my actual international moving company. The crew has been polite, in time and I had the impression they really made sure not to damage my goods. The office always responded quickly.
