Wouldn't use anyone else but these guys! The whole experience was excellent from communication, timeliness and professionalism to care of furniture. I never once felt overwhelmed by the move because I was kept informed on timelines and expectations. The quote was accurate and easy to get. The two gentlemen who were assigned to my move were fantastic and I appreciate both them and this business.

Charged $1100 to move a two bedroom apartment 4 miles down the road. Took 2 hours longer than quoted. Movers were extremely slow moving, no hustle or care. Guaranteed to wrap furniture but did not wrap coffee table or dining table (I was not present when they moved these two items) and damaged both. Broke a floor lamp and my daughter’s baby crib. Took an hour “gas stop”. Didn’t have the energy to fight it after such a long day of moving. I knew I wouldn’t get anything out of them anyways.

My daughter's bed frame was damaged beyond repair. I specifically asked for it to be taken apart and loaded into a pod; they missed screws or tried loading it without taking it all apart and the wood panels are destroyed where screws stayed attached and panels broken off (purchased 2022, practicallyin new condition). My treadmill (bowflex, purchased 2023 also practically in new condition) and wooden TV cabinet ( a couple of years old, minor worn condition) were cosmetically damaged. I understand some damage can happen to heavier large items, but I chose a company I thought would have honest workers. The workers tried hiding the damages by putting a piece of paper on the bed panels. I waited for the claim process prior to writing about my experience to see how the company would handle this mishap. I received a check for $140 due to the weight of the bed and treadmill. This is a $2200 bed frame from Pottery Barn that can't be touched up or repaired. The total "weight" is irrelevant as the panels should have been properly taken apart by removing all of the screws. The weight of an individual panel is not that much, I can move them by myself without a dolly. I needed help taking the bed apart and loaded due to having a baby and a toddler with me. Besides the damaged bed frame and cosmetically damaged treadmill and tv cabinet, I would still not recommend. They did not load the pods properly. They left a lot of open space at the top as if they weren't sure how to stack properly meaning I had to rent an extra pod since I had 2 pods loaded half way instead of to the top. Also, my large tv and art boxes were loaded in on their sides. I don't understand this when the boxes were clearly marked with arrows and tv pictures on them. I didn't need the extra stress of wondering if they got damaged until we were able to unpack them. Nice guys, I guess, but totally clueless on moving stuff and taking furniture apart.

Firefighting's Finest was available when we needed them. My wife and I called them the day we sold our home. They had availability on their calendar. We were scheduled to be moved the following day. Their trucks are eye catching. Chris, Darius and Jonathan were the team that greeted me. I had peace of mine knowing that Firefighting's Finest criminal background checks all of their employees. They are professional. They moved our belongings with care. The Team Lead, Jonathan, explained all the details of our move. There were no unexpected costs. Firefighting's Finest is affordable and I recommend them.

Arrived on time, 3 pleasant hard working guys. Started out wrapping and protecting dining room set. Those pieces arrived intact and undamaged. Great job so far. Later for some reason they started loading items without wrapping. I was concerned that pieces of furniture were loaded with the finished surfaces being exposed to hand trucks with no protection. Pieces came in contact with door frames that could have been prevented, unprotected and other pieces came close to doing the same. Damage was minimal. Items in the bedroom suite suffered damage on two pieces with the dresser broken at a weak place that looked like it was used as a lifting point. Added to that damage was distortion on the same side to the extent that drawers no longer worked on their rails. The doors on the armoires were not taped to hold them shut. This allowed one to break off at its hinges and shatter the door which was built with glued wooden strips. Though the damage was preventable, these things can still happen so will be filing claim for damages and see how well they are at repairing and resolving. Local move.
