I REALLY wish I could post a positive review, but I honestly cannot. Moving is stressful, things get damaged and sometimes even lost. Those are all expected and my review has nothing to do with any of that. I believe character really shows when things don’t go as planned, and as far as ShoreView- this is where the wheels fell off. The experience from pricing, loading, delivery was all fine and met expectations, however, they ran out of room on the truck and had to ship about 8 larger items on a separate shipment. I was originally told it would be an extra week tops.. turned into 19 days passed their bogus guaranteed delivery window where I was continually told story after story as to why it kept getting pushed back. The long and short of it is, they messed up and instead of going out of their way to make it right and get my remaining items to me in a reasonable time, they kept pushing it off until it was convenient for them to finally deliver. NAVL Corporate will not honor the claim in their contract for delayed items because they say it wasn’t 20% of the whole shipment weight- which is another major concern (what happens if they hold onto your items for 6 months and its under 20% of total moving weight?). ShoreView sent us a small refund for the handling of the situation which I appreciate but certainly does not make up for the massive fumble in my opinion. I hate to write this but as a consumer I feel others should know about their meaningless guaranteed delivery window that they tout as one of their strong suits.

I moved from the East Coast to the West Coast and used Shoreview. As most people do I shopped around a bit before deciding on moving company. The biggest difference for me initially was that they were the only company that came out in person to my apartment to give me an accurate quote. Other companies asked me to submit a list of items that needed to be moved or would do a video walk through but I was worried I would be stung with fees during the move as things could easily be missed. The company wasn’t pushy while I was shopping around and when I decided to move forward with them they literally took care of everything and made everything so easy. They gave me all the paperwork I needed and clearly explained what I needed to do prior to the move. On the day of the move everything went well and I received a call asking how everything went. Once the movers were on there way I was given a more accurate time of when they would be delivering my items. And they were also in touch after the move to ensure I was happy. They put my mind at ease and took care of everything for me and I highly recommend. Tracy and Andrea were exceptional. Would definitely use their services again.

We had such a great experience with ShoreView and would highly recommend them! We did a long distance move from PA to Georgia. Everyone on the team was extremely thorough and kept in touch throughout the entire process to make sure things went according to plan. They were also very upfront and transparent, and there were no surprises from beginning to end. I can't say enough good things and am so glad we had Shoreview to help us with our long distance move.

There are not enough kind words to describe the move from Florida to Alabama by ShoreView Moving & Storage through North American Van Lines. The crew guided by Ron Mitchell did a wonderful job loading and unloading. All furniture was placed where needed with precision and care. Not a scratch or any damage was found. i was making a move within Virginia and after evaluating two movers chose ShoreView. The move also required storage which ended up being almost five months due to the new home being delivered late. Everything went smoothly and the same crew who packed and picked up my belongings also delivered them. Delivery went smoothly and I was very happy with both the service and the price.
