Flyway Van Nuys is a great alternative if you just don't want to drive to LAX and deal with the traffic. I came here this morning to drop off my wife and her family. We arrived in the early morning at 6am but be aware that sometime they can get busy so they'll tell you if you're just better off driving yourself to LAX, it happen to my friend recently. Also if your traveling in a group sometime you just have to wait for the next bus if they can't accommodate for everyone.

Flyaway Van Nuys is a fantastic option for convenient transportation in the San Fernando Valley. The location is ideal, the prices are great, and buses run every 20 minutes. I strongly recommend it for anyone needing reliable and affordable transit.

The Van Nuys FlyAway Bus is an excellent, super affordable transport option from the valley to LAX. The drive time is around 35 minutes at night, and I took the 10:00 PM departure. I highly recommend getting your ticket through the app—just load and go! The return trip was smooth, but keep in mind that it does take a while since the bus stops at multiple terminals for pickups. This makes the circle around LAX take almost as long as the drive back to Van Nuys. Make sure to pay for parking before you leave the terminal. There’s both a parking garage and outdoor parking available. Overall, a convenient and cost-effective way to get to and from LAX!

A Bus driver (bus 9914) was so disrespectful from the moment they arrived at terminal. This person came in what seemed upset and mannerisms that were so disrespectful. Instead of vocalizing and/or helping my senior mom she kept making gestures for her to move out of the way (in a rude manner). Then when she was going to put our items away into the bus she made once again another gesture and face expressions of frustration. At this point, we had waited over an hour for a bus, with a hungry five year old toddler and didn’t appreciate her energy. I handed her the luggage, with God forbid the same energy she was giving, and she had a fit. My response to her when she made a face and stopped working for handing her a luggage was “you’ve been giving attitude and me handing you the luggage, is a problem” lol the audacity. Many reviews relate how many of these employees are extremely rude! She literally Refused service for what?! Movement of how I handed her the luggage she wanted?! Comical. When all her movements from the beginning were aggressive! She left us at the terminal. I’m definitely going to escalate the issue and at this point I’m going to see what legal rights I have because this employee definitely needs training in customer service. The energy, mannerisms and lack of communication was so inappropriate from this employee. The refusal of service was absolutely discrimination. She never spoke once and/ or explained anything. I asked for her name twice and she refused to provide the information.

Not very pleased with the service. There were 2 buses that passed by and they were full so they didn’t stop to pick us up. When we finally got one, the bus driver started to complain that our group family had too much luggage and were marked fragile. When I told him what do you mean, he said, oh no, I refuse to take people with attitude. I said what attitude? He said I can refuse service. I said, I didn’t want any problems and would wait for another bus. My handicapped companion and children had to wait for another bus. The children were in distress because the bus driver was yelling at me. In top of that he flipped me off and my kids witnessed it! The bus driver that came behind him said he was in the wrong. He had room and didn’t want to take us. He told me to file a complain with the managers, Pablo or another female I believe her name is Elizabeth. Managers never got back to me. I called to follow up and they said they were investigating. This is unacceptable when you pay for your ticket, several buses have gone by and were full, and had two kids and a handicap person waiting so long and in distress. I expected more from this company. Always use them and never had a problem.
