Nice hotel and location but the front desk service was really lacking. The night clerk acted like he was doing me a favor by giving me a bottle of water. Implying that because I declined cleaning service that day I wouldn't get a water and he was making an exception. $200+ a night and a request for water becomes a conversation. During other shifts the front desk staff just sits in the office.

I stay at a massive amount of Marriott on a yearly basis, and this Four Points is quite frankly the worst Marriott property I have stayed in over a decade. If you intend to work here, the internet does not work at all as confirmed by my 5 night stay with 0.25mb/s bandwidth. Ive talked to others including the front staff about the internet problem - even they have seen the same. Managers blame the guests on not knowing how to set up their phones and laptops. What a disaster. Check out the speedtest... The location is less than stellar - its San Jose downtown so a bit of zombies and other related types surround the hotel. I would AVOID this hotel like the plague if I were you. PS) Im only able to write this by using my phones tethering. This place sucks.

Only thing wrong with this hotel was they still asked for my card for incidentals, but my job already had a card on file and she argued with me instead of checking it first. Then the manager got involved and tried to fix it but it was too late, the charge is already there... Please try and listen to customers before going too far... 3/11/2024 I'm back for more training for work, and came back to the Four Points to stay. This time check in was very, very smooth. They even upgraded my room to a king suit for free! Room is great with a view! I do recommend The Four Points for anyone staying in downtown San Jose!!!

Stayed two nights in a wonderful Junior Suite on a corner. I preferred quiet versus the good view. The hotel is all remodeled and rooms are all upgraded. Slept good and had mini fridge coffee tea water bottles and great bathroom lighting to get ready. I loved the shelve to put my toiletries and the extra lighting on rhe mirror. I am thankful for the amazing front desk who helped me during my stay who made us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed. I also enjoyed the Mosaic restaurant downstairs great food great bartenders. In the morning I walked 2 min to Starbucks just to get some sunshine and the next day the festival was in town. Loved rhe energy and location of this hotel. Thank you!

Everything is under construction water in hallways with drying fans. Don’t stay here. And the hotel is not remodeled yet. Under construction. No bar, restaurant or pool. It won’t be completed for at least 6 months. Other posts I would call out BS saying it remodeled. Don’t start here
