I had an incredible experience with Fox Moving Company during our recent move. This morning, three movers arrived right on time and immediately got to work. They were professional, friendly, and had great personalities, making the whole process much easier. Their efficiency and strategic approach were impressive, and it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. Halfway through the move, three additional team members joined in. Just like the original three, they were courteous and personable, seamlessly fitting into the team. The camaraderie among the group was evident, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine, even with the added challenge of moving from a third-floor condo to a house with a steep driveway. Despite the complexity of our move, they kept up their energy and positivity. One of the movers even noticed me considering repositioning a desk at the end of the move and didn’t hesitate to offer assistance, which was incredibly thoughtful. We also have three dogs, and I was pleased to see how well the movers interacted with them. They were all so kind, turning a potentially stressful situation into a pleasant one for everyone, pets included. I’m so glad I chose Fox Moving Company, especially after reading so many positive reviews on Reddit Knoxville. My first contact with Fox was Jose, who set the tone for the entire experience. He was professional, helpful, and made everything easy, from the initial inquiry to signing the contract online, all within a week. The company even provided us with some free boxes, which was a generous and much-appreciated gesture. In summary, Fox Moving Company made our move smooth and hassle-free. I’m grateful to the entire team for their hard work, teamwork, and positive attitude, to Jose for his excellent customer service, and to Fox Moving for employing such dedicated and caring individuals. I will be recommending them to everyone I know, and if we ever need to move again (though I hope not anytime soon), Fox will be my first choice.

IN RESPONSE: If we are responsible, then why did the movers wrap some items and not others? Why didn't the movers point out that they were going to place items on table tops and they would be ruined? Excuses instead of apologies says a LOT. Wow. REVIEW REWRITE: We hired this company to load our trailer that would be traveling 2500 miles across the country to our destination. I was told the movers would wrap our furniture so it would travel safely and be undamaged. Some items were wrapped, while others were not for some reason. If the customer is responsible for wrapping, why did the movers wrap SOME items (and poorly at that) instead of NONE? Sadly we had a LOT of damage as these PROFESSIONAL movers placed boxes on top of bare table tops which got scratched up and ruined. Even if the customer is responsible for wrapping items for safety, shouldn't the movers at least warn us that they are going to place items on table tops and that these items will most likely be ruined during the long journey? Also, heavier boxes placed on top of lighter boxes which were smashed and destroyed, and an inability to pack all of our items into the space. We had four 8' x 4' floor mats that could have easily been laid on the floor of the trailer and then boxes and furniture placed on top, but we had to leave them behind because the movers didn't do this. We thought we hired movers we could trust to load the trailer so our items would be safe traveling across the country, which these movers KNEW in advance. The should know better. Unfortunately, this was not the case. They get an extra star for sending extra movers at no extra cost, but that's it. One word: Disappointed.

I had an absolutely *fantastic* experience. I can’t say enough good things, but I’ll try. These guys were incredibly professional, kind, and understanding. From the moment they arrived, my anxiety about what was ahead of me disappeared, and I felt confident that I had made the right decision. Mickey and his crew were wonderful. From the moment I contacted Fox for an out of state move, they were great. Sent someone out to assess the move, scheduled date, loaded and unloaded as planned. We packed our own belongings, the crew was quick to get everything loaded. We had to change our date twice, Fox worked with us on the date. The price of our move never changed. We paid by cashiers check, very simple and easy. Our belongings are currently sitting in storage until new house is complete, if there is any breakage, that is on us since we did the packing. I can’t see how anyone can hold a mover responsible for breakage if the owner does the packing. There were some heavy boxes and I am sure the crew did its best. Thank you again to Fox for all of your help in making this move stress free. Big thank you to everyone that was a part of our move, just wish the same crew was available to move us from our storage to new house. You guys rocked it.

I will start off by saying that the staff is very friendly as are the young men who moved the furniture. I packed everything that could go into boxes myself. They were to handle the rest of the furniture in my 1960 square foot home. I even bubble wrapped every single one of my pictures, thank God! They started off by sending a guy to do an estimate as to whether I would more than one truck to move my things. He assured me we only needed one truck. The movers arrived at my house about 9:00 in the morning and about Midway through the move let me know that all my furniture would not fit on the truck. Very long story short, I ended up using my truck to help them move my stuff. I am a widowed woman. Very fit I might add. Nonetheless we got to the storage facility, and again, they said it wouldn't all fit in the storage room. The storage facility assured me that for a 2000 square foot home, the storage room would accommodate. This move literally took from 9:00 in the morning until after midnight to be completed. The storage facility was approximately 30 minutes from my home . I helped them with the entire move once we got to the storage facility. Meaning I was pushing carts full of furniture up to my storage room right alongside of these men. I honestly think that the young man who came to assess whether I needed one truck or two, made a big mistake. Also, the three young men that they sent were not experienced and did not know how to load the truck properly to get everything on it. Same goes for when we got to the storage facility. Quite a few things were damaged in the move, which I was compensated for. It took quite some time to get everything settled, but in the end they paid me what they felt like my damage was worth. As I mentioned, these kids were inexperienced. I did however use them to move things from the storage facility to my new home. I requested the two most experienced men in the field, and they accommodated. That move went very smoothly other than the fact that they left bed rails to one bed at the storage facility and I had to go retrieve it. I don't highly recommend them unless you ask for the most experienced guys to move your stuff. I feel like this is a very fair review.
