Not impressed. They want to pay you .50 a mile or $23.34 an hour. But, if you get paid by the hour, they turn around and take 3 to 3.5 hours out for a supposed break that 99% of all break are taken at the fuel isle. In addition, the CEO/owner comes off as an aloof, disturbed individual. I would not be calling the insurance industry a “game” since it makes up a significant cost to any trucking company. A cavalier attitude by someone who should be a lot more serious about a critical cog in the wheel of their company. I would never work for this low-rent, poor equipment company even if they increased their poor pay scale.

A false pretense/Facade of:caring, hometime, safety,(especially from the safety Department)(don’t do as I do, do as I say, and sign my letter so we can use it against you,for future purposes !!!)( sorry I’m preoccupied by grilling out my hamburgers and hot dogs 🌭 on Labor Day!!!! Safety can wait !!! So much for safety issues needing addressing!!!)( and if that’s the case then why do you NOT OWN your own trucking business anymore???!!!)(and why was the safety issue never considered/corrected/addressed ???)family matters “ and”we care”!!!! I wasted 4 1/2 years of my life here, just to be unappreciated, and told I was showing “disrespect “ towards the office personnel (it’s a 2way street, you get more with a cup of sugar, than you do with a teaspoonful of vinegar.). For future reference: do your homework well, and find out about the place you are going to work for, before you obligate yourself. 47 years of experience under my belt .Good Luck People, I wish you well !!!

Thank God I have a degree and I went back into the insurance industry. This place sucks! Low pay, don’t believe their BS about industry standards. The people are nice, but it’s trucking.

I was given an offer of 21.76 an hour and OT after 50 hours. Most the drivers work over 50 hours a week. Slave labor is what that's called. Insulting to offer that to someone. The people that work here must have forgotten that they are professionals and worth way more then that. Terrible

Actually I loved working here but the channahon boss cost ya a star.. he tried several ways to fire me so that it didn’t appear he let me go because of a spinal cord injury disability I had when they hired me.. he fired me for apparently falsifying documents saying I edited my logs to show I was at work longer one day than I really was.. not a bright guy as all H R would have to do is look at my second log in on the other app we use.. it would of shown I was there.. we had to log in at G&D portal and sign for Rivian … I have a text from him sayin if I ever need my logs edited because the truck I was sharing wasn’t always back on time that he would edit the logs.. I don’t know how to do that so I know he sabotaged my logs.. management thinks he’s Mr nice guy and does no wrong.. he’s a bullying crook that cost me my job.. I never missed and worked all overtime offered.. my motor skills were on the mend and I was getting my quota safely everyday .. top it all off the jerk had a big smile on his face when he fired me.. he’s the type of guy who I’d catch driving a couple blocks away from me watching me.. man’s got some mental issues or something… there’s people who work for him that found lost trailers that were on a list that was posted with rewards if you found any of them and reported where they were…. After turning in the location of a few of those trailers that were found the employees never received any reward because the boss Daryl collected and kept the money never mentioning the people who gave him the location… there was also a trailer full of electronics that went missing and it’s believed that said manager had his hands in on this… so all in all G&D would be a great place to work if they got rid of this crooked piece of black dung… I believe a discrimination of disabled workers lawsuit is in the making as I speak… brought this to H . R and absolutely nothing was done about it
