Would not recommend. Scheduling and communication was great until the big day. They packed up all of our stuff quickly but complained the entire time to the point where we started moving some off our belongings ourselves. Then they went to the wrong address. 30 minutes later they arrived and we made it very clear that our floors had just been refinished to the tune of over 4 grand. They assured us they would be careful. Don’t you know the very first item they brought into our new place was our sofa which of course was dropped causing a large scratch in the hardwood. They said they had a buffer and would take care of it which was fine with us. The buffing never happened, even after multiple phone calls. They also put together one of the bed frames haphazardly and we had to dismantle the entire thing and put it back together again. It’s a shame because we want to support local business, but we cannot support this group of movers and the way they chose to do business. If they are willing to fix the damages caused or compensate us we would gladly change the nature of this review.

Just used them (3/24) and they were excellent. Professional and easy to deal with. The guys were friendly and Brenda who set me up with time and date was great. The apartment I was moving from the landlord was, to say the least, particular and protective of the building. Asked the guys to consider that and they didn’t leave not one mark or scratch on the wall. And the couch they moved was HEAVY and awkward. They were half the price of all the others I priced. They wasted no time with the move. (They charged per hour) I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If i could give them ZERO STARS, I would!! This is, by far, THE WORST moving company I’ve ever used. They were rude, they charged my fiancée and I $300 more than they quoted us, with no extras, they just threw on $300 extra dollars. Then, they destroyed our TV (see pictures) and said they WILL NOT do anything because “THEY BELIEVE”, they didn’t do it. We’ve asked for the owner to call us several times and we have been ignored every time!!! I told them we would get our attorney involved and the man who was the secretary said, “do what you gotta do”. Clearly very educated…. We will give the owner until Monday to call us back and make this right, or we will be there bright and early Monday (9/25/23) with our Attorney.

We have used Gardner& Son’s twice now and have nothing but good things to say! They are quick, careful, and attentive to our belongings. We have moved mirrors, glass, nice dressers and major electronics with no issues whatsoever. We do take the time to package them nicely which only helps both parties. But collectively they have driven our belongings 5+ hours and we will contact them when we move again in the future for sure!

These guys are awesome! This was my 2nd time using them. They make the move quick and were very careful about all of my belongings. They came in under their estimate and are extremely hardworking. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!
