I have used Gateway for 2 separate moves and we were happy both times. The movers were communicative on when they would arrive, were on time, worked hard, and did the jobs well. We did need to follow up with the company to repair some minor wall damage after a particularly difficult move and they were easy to work with, sent an excellent repairman, and completed all the work on a tight deadline. We could not have asked for a more professional response to the issue. We will definitely recommend this company to others and use them in the future.

The three movers who helped me today were fantastic. They arrived on time, communicated clearly, and handled everything with care and efficiency. They were also incredibly friendly and kind, even offering to help dispose of my empty boxes. I would 100% recommend their services!

My move was outsourced to this company. Initially all was well when moving my items out of my apartment, but this issues began when I noticed items were missing. They handed me the contract to say the job was done…. Verbally stated all was unpacked from the truck…. And left. When I looked around large items were unaccounted for…. A glass table with lamp, a step stool, a chair, and a huge box with irreplaceable items from other countries and sentimental items from my deceased grandmother. There could still be more that is missing. When I reached out to the company, I was told multiple times the truck was empty. How can it be if my items are not in my place? I simply moved around the corner from one building to the next. I SAW the movers take out the items in question, but somehow they are not with me now. BEWARE of this company. Something is not right. Request to check the truck, have someone present to make sure your items go on the truck and come off. Do not use them unless you want your precious memories to disappear. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that a local company could be so careless and selfish to their community.

I recently used Gateway moving. When I say they was absolutely professional and on time. They had my apartment moved in no time. Those guys work extremely efficient and hard. None of my items was damaged and they w en put all beds a d couches together. Definitely would refer to all my family and friends.

My experience with Gateway Moving has been highly unpleasant. I moved from Maryland to North Carolina on March 16, and most of my furniture was damaged during the move. I reported the issue immediately, but the driver seemed to be under the influence. The other worker showed little moving experience, and my brother and boyfriend had to assist to avoid additional charges. The driver left for my new location before us, and my brother arrived at my house before the driver. I recommended you get your own insurance for your furniture because they’re claim policy is outrageous. I’m literally taking a big L and they’re not even reimbursing me one fifth of what I lost for the amount of money that I just spent on them to move me here I could’ve just move myself, and save myself so much money
