I like the responsiveness of Don Alvaro, he made sure to walk us through of all requirements to transport our house goods to Costa Rica. He made sure to gain our confident and trust. he was there every time we call to answer our questions. our experience was door to door from US to Costa Rica. thank to Don Alvaro and Gateway Moving & Relocation personnel. Gateway came highly recommeneded to us as we prepared to immigrate as a family of five to the States. From the beginning the company was responsive, professional, and gracious. They worked to meet our needs and took great care to protect our valuable possessions. Each aspect of the service was done with excellence. My wife received the Gateway crew to our home to box up our items. They allowed her to guide them in where to box each item, they were respectful at all moments, and they showed great care with everything they boxed. We arrived to the states before our shipment and were always informed of its whereabouts. On "arrival day" the U.S. delivery company left the boxes in our garage. Everything arrived, not a box missing, and all the contents were in perfect condition. We shipped everything from books, to china, to artwork. We cannot recommend more Gateway. My final comment would be that Gateway is an ethical moving company that follows both Costa Rican and U.S. laws to assure that everything is done with excellence and nothing is "overlooked" just to make more money. If you are looking for a movinig company, you couldn't find a better one.

We moved from Canada to Costa Rica there was a delay so it was in their warehouse for 2 months and when we got our stuff it was moldy and it looks like they broke our stuff it looks like it was Kick in and our jewelry was stolen and on the jewelry boxes there were the dirty finger prints and most things like TV and old computers were all stolen we bought insurance and then when we tried to claim it Alvaro who was the boss of our shipment he said we never bought it and he made us pay more and more and every time we paid he said it was the last payment and then would ask for more money and held our house hold items for ransom and then when we got it we had 2 table leg that were our and 2 that were not our and all of our stuff was like that I don't recommend them please don't ship with them terrible experience Ps.the only reason I'm giving one star is bc I can only post it if I leave a star rating
