GMCC provided amazing service for our long haul move. We had to move from our house to storage and later to another state. They took care of many logistics and provided helpful packing advice. It was a relief once we began working with them. So nice and professional. They clearly take great pride in a job well done.

I had the best experience with George and his company. From day one, you could tell George was very dedicated to his work and wanted to know every part of what I wanted moved. His workers were professional and did a great job handling my more delicate items. I will definitely book with him again in the future!

Georges Moving Company is a 5-Star, A+, amazing moving company! I’ve hired his moving and cleaning services once before and am about to hire him for moving once again. George is incredibly thorough in his pre-move process which results in perfect packing and logistics on moving day. His team is incredibly courteous, efficient, and customer service focused. Do not hesitate to hire George and his team for your next move!

The place we were moving into recommended him. When I called him to originally schedule a meeting, he was very rude to me. He kept talking over and interrupting me. My fiancé had a totally different experience with him. When my fiancé described his conversation with George later, it sounded like he spoke to a completely different person. Ladies, make of that what you will. His written communication when he emailed us was like a second grader. This did not inspire confidence in me using his company. The “contract” that he sent us to sign was just an ambiguous, difficult to read word document that we needed to type our names in and email it back to him. He accidentally sent us someone else’s by mistake. After we “signed” it, a copy signed by him was never returned, even though he said he would. He also doesn’t pay his workers enough because in the contract he says “please don’t tell the workers what you’re paying.” For the $2,500, I don’t see why we can’t tell them. To pay him, he wanted Venmo or Apple Cash. (Also another discrepancy on the contract was it said you could pay cash at the time of the move, which we couldn’t.) He doesn’t have a system set up for taking credit cards, so I basically had to apply cash this guy who I just met who could hardly write an English sentence over thousand dollars as a deposit, and hope he was legit. Mind you, if he had not been specifically recommended by our apartment complex, I never would have gone through with this. It felt like a scam. So, then we needed an invoice for cost of the move. My fiancé basically had to drag it out of him. I got relocation assistance with my new job, so I needed something to submit for reimbursement. He said the signed contract (that we never actually received) was the receipt. He basically threw a fit and demanded to know why we wanted a receipt and that he would have to now generate an invoice and pay taxes. What legitimate business owner is uncomfortable generating a receipt? Eventually we got him to generate us an invoice through excel (basically a page that says “invoice” with his company name on it with a total. This was good enough for me, but the fact we had to have a whole argument about it was unprofessional. Then comes moving day. He’s not actually with his crew, he sent others out. He said they’d arrive at 11, but they actually arrived at 9. Good thing I was already packed and awake, but they had called me at 7 am the day of for the change. So I packed my bed quickly while being blindsided. On the way over to the new place, we got the workers lunch too for getting our stuff loaded well. We start to unpack at our new place, our TV is broken. There’s a giant crack in it. We text George and tell him, and send him a picture. He starts yelling at us. This was after being told in the first call that he’s insured and secure, so don't touch anything. We didn't touch it. The movers packed it. Could you imagine getting blamed and yelled at for your tv being broken when you haven’t even touched it? My fiance then informed him that when we set up the move, we TOLD him we did not have the original box, and that he said that wouldn’t be a problem. And that his team could pack it and move it safely, since that’s literally their entire service. On top of that, while yelling at us about our broken tv, he says, “ Why do you care, your company is paying for the moving costs?!” The audacity of this child. We hang up and call him later, he agrees to pay us for a new tv that costs less than our old one did. He haggled even though we could’ve gone to his insurance and fought it out. We just wanted to get it all over with. What a nightmare. Later we found out that the movers broke 3 mugs, 1 bowl, 1 candle in a glass container which were all packed up in a box that had fragile written all over it. On top of that, they put a hole in our old place. I’m even more upset about doing business with him, and how he treats others. There were other movers who would’ve done it for 1,400 tops around in Lancaster, but I had already signed the contract.

I don't usually leave reviews but Georges Moving Company deserves the recognition. George got back to me in less than a few hours after my initial note, had a schedule for a move done in no time at all, and completed the job quickly and efficiently and for a very reasonable rate. They deserve your business.
