We have moved out of state every 2-3 years for the last 20 years. This was by far the best experience. Brandon and his team did a wonderful job. They were very efficient. They left our home live-able without boxes everywhere. The cost was very reasonable for an interstate move. We don’t plan on moving again but if we do we will use Georgetown Movers.

We recently completed our second move with Georgetown Movers, and once again, Ricardo, Locke and Tay were amazing! My husband and I moved from DC to NJ, and despite hitting 2 hours of traffic on our way, they remained incredibly patient and respectful the entire time. They handled both the loading and unloading of our belongings with great care and attention. Ricardo has helped us with two moves, and his professionalism and commitment to getting the job done right have been consistent. This is a very professional company and the movers are very responsive. We had our daughter’s belongings move out of her DC apartment in April of this year and stored at the Georgetown facility. Then in August, we had her belongings move to Boston to her new apartment. The entire process was stress free! Thank you for taking care of our belongings and making our move easy. Thank you to Jevon and Terry (movers who came to Boston) and put away all the furniture and boxes approximately. I would definitely recommend this company for interstate or local moves.

Had to do a quick move of a one bedroom apartment from DC to Western New York. Ricardo, Marcus and Walter were exactly on time for both pick-up and delivery two days later, and were very efficient in loading up the materials and adding additional packing supplies and coverage where needed. They were incredibly friendly and a pleasure throughout the course of the move, both on my end and on that of the recipient - and they had the flexbility to dispose of two pieces of furniture for me that I had not included in the original estimate. Pricing was extremely competitive and my end cost matched the estimate I was given. I could not be more pleased with the experience and would absolutely use them again.
