I can’t thank the X Van Lines team enough for their hard work for making my move a success. My initial phone conversation with the salesman Mike made me realize I was in good hands. Once Manny and his helpers came to my house and started wrapping my furniture and loading the truck; I had no doubt I made the best choice for my move to California. I want to thank their whole team for their patience with me, my kids and dogs, while we transition into our new home. Their communication and compassion during the whole move really made this an easy and stressless experience. Thanks again.

Moved from California to Michigan: this moving company is not good at all. Firstly, I want to emphasize that the five-star reviews you see online might not reflect the reality of their service. Upon re-reading the reviews after my experience, I found that many of the one-star reviews echoed the issues I encountered. I was initially quoted $4,500 for moving my small one-bedroom apartment across the country with partial packing. I was assured by several representatives that if I packed half of my items, I could receive a refund based on the packing materials not used. Unfortunately, this turned out to be untrue, and I ended up facing additional charges. Moreover, I was informed about a 30-day free storage service, which I utilized, only to find myself charged extra beyond the agreed terms. The delivery of my items was a further disappointment; they arrived four weeks later than requested. The delivery was made by a semi-truck, but the movers did not assist with unpacking or setting up my belongings as promised. Instead, they dropped everything off and left. To add to my distress, many of my items were damaged, with several broken pieces and numerous crushed boxes (see pictures). I even received items that did not belong to me, having to flag over five pieces that were incorrectly delivered. The movers showed visible frustration as I checked to ensure everything was accounted for before signing the delivery documents. The packing and loading teams appeared to be third-party contractors, and payment was only accepted in cash or by check, which felt very unusual given the high cost of the move. Throughout this ordeal, my attempts to contact customer service were met with disappointment. I called five times seeking clarification and assistance, but each time, I was unable to speak with a manager despite my requests. I also sent two emails detailing my concerns, receiving only one acknowledgment without follow-up, and no response to the second. The overall process was extremely frustrating—zero communication, lack of updates on the location of my belongings, unauthorized extra fees, and significant damages. To top it off, I was charged an additional $2,200 beyond my original quote, bringing my total to $6,700. In closing, I strongly advise against using this moving company (they are a SCAM). My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and it is clear they lack the transparency and professionalism one expects from a moving service. Please consider this a warning to protect your belongings and your peace of mind.

Absolutely terrible experience all the way around! When something sounds too good to be true it usually is…we scheduled a move they were 48 hours late and almost cost us the sell of our home. Upon arrival there was one man to move a 4 bedroom house, my husband ended up helping and loading the truck which caused him a back injury. We then moved 18 hours away and waited almost a month for our belongings to be delivered. Surprise upon delivery one man showed up in a truck to unload very heavy furniture items, plus the poor driver was living like a bum out of the truck. So many of our boxes were crushed our things just thrown in with others belongings. Furniture broken, documents you couldn’t understand handwriting was not legible. So very sad that these people treat your life’s belongings like garbage. Don’t use this company if you value peace of mind and the condition of your belongings. We were devastated.
