I want to start by saying how stressful moving is. I work full time, go to school full time, and have kids. The thought of moving has been turning my stomach for weeks now. It was a big decision whether to pay movers or do it ourselves with such little free time. We've never used movers before and were really afraid of how much it would cost. We have a 2 bedroom apartment and a fair amount of stuff. We chose a 3 person team, $210/hr. We had this fear of how quick those hours can add up. The deposit was a little over $500. That basically covers 2 hours, there is a 3 hour minimum. We're leaving Westminster and going to Hanover. The drive alone is over an hour of cost. These were all factors in the stress. So today was moving day and I'm thoroughly impressed. These guys did not bull**** around. Our driveway is on a hill and the porch is extremely narrow. Despite all that, they had everything packed in the truck and were pulling out in just over an hour. That's way faster than we ever imagined. I'm so glad we decided to go with Glamour Moving. I'll update with the total moving cost once I receive the official bill. Final bill 2 bedroom first floor apartment to 3 floor house, moved across state line, 30 minute drive each way, 100% pleased and would recommend. The deposit was $520 and paid $550 more at the end, so $1070 and worth every penny. Thank you guys so much!!!!!

I moved several years ago and was referred to Glamour moving. They were very efficient and even unhooked one refrigerator with an ice maker and hooked it up in the new house as well as moving the old one to the basement. They had to take the Bannister off to get my bedroom furniture upstairs and put it back better than it was. I was extremely satisfied with them.

Very friendly, professional and careful!! They were very meticulous and took their time with my breakables. They also did a great job with my office move a few years back. Highly recommend!!

Employees were very polite but boxes containing mixed contents were sparsely labeled and incorrectly placed. MANY boxes worth of home goods were left on site for me to move. Packers came insufficiently prepared and ran out of materials. Dining room floor was gouged and company has made no effort to ameliorate any of these concerns after two previous emails.

Glamour a moving was excellent in moving and entire household from and to Virginia. The crew took great care in transporting our items.
