Made a mistake going through a moving brokerage company and got stuck with Golden Glove Movers. Extra star for 2 stars because the movers themselves work hard and try to do a good job, but then the company takes no responsibility when accidents/mistakes happen. No one is perfect but when you mess up you need to take ownership. Multiple expensive items including mountain bike and grill were damaged during the move. The most expensive items however, were not even delivered at all and I never received any word of their whereabouts. Kind of suspicious and convenient that those items worth well over $1000 disappeared in transit. They keep telling me they’ll call back for a resolution but never do. The claims process and insurance are just for show, they require all payment in cash otherwise they won’t deliver your things. This unfortunately makes transactions untrackable which is to their benefit. Unfortunately I needed to move in a short period of time so got stuck with this company as I had no other choice. It put me back $15000 plus all the items lost and damaged. They showed up with a 26’ Penske and claimed it holds 1850 cubic feet. Penske trucks only hold up to 1700 cu ft and when called out on this fact they refused to admit it and claimed they rented a very special 26’ truck that was bigger than all the 26’ Penske trucks. They changed their quote multiple times during the move, which I get, but why have a quote in the first place when the final is just shy of 4 times the original quote? They don’t listen and loaded all the items we told them not to load. We had a very careful room to room walkthrough where I pointed out the things to not move multiple times. When called out on that they refused to take it out of the truck so they could charge for more space. Their solution was to “do us a favor” and not load a bunch of things we had wanted to bring so instead we were stuck and needed to leave valuable furniture behind. We paid for packing service but they don’t include unpacking. Also they'll take apart furniture but won’t put it back together. Every little thing needs to be paid for extra. For packing, we did most of it ourselves just asked for help with the last bits. Most of the things they packed were actually things we already packed and they just threw them together into bigger boxes to charge for more packed boxes. Others were packing the things we asked to leave behind. So we ended up with a bunch of things we threw away and had to leave behind items we really wanted to move down with us. Despite all their mishaps we set aside money to tip them very generously, but they asked for the tip before they were even done. That’s like a waiter asking for the tip then bringing out the food. These companies shouldn’t be allowed to exist and continue to get away with things like this. Until people stop giving them business though, the crimes will continue. Update: This company tried to avoid me for over a week. I called multiple times during this period of time and it was the same person that answered each time and promised me that someone would call back the next day because the "executives aren't here yet", whatever that means. Finally they sent me an email back saying that I can call the claims company. This company CSI (Claims Service International) doesn't actually have a number but directs you to the website, and if you look at their reviews, you understand how horrible and twisted this company is by having this scam company handle claims. I don't expect to receive anything for the thousands of dollars in losses I suffered from this company. I took away the one extra star I originally gave them. Update: Owner Ray called and stated he was out of the country but owned up and apologized for all the mistakes and attempted to remediate. He offered a refund of half the value of the missing items which is appreciated. He seems like a responsible owner, or at least takes the reviews seriously. For that he is a 5-star owner, however given all the mishaps I can only honestly upgrade to 4 stars.

I just worked with Golden Glove Movers for the first time moving from NJ to Dallas. They were able to schedule the pick up within a week. They were efficient and communicated well during the process. The delivery guys were prompt. They unloaded everything very fast and set everything up for me, super nice guys because . Even with several loads and unloads by my belongings came in perfect condition, no dents or scratches. The whole process was much easier than I had expected , Golden Glove Movers took care of everything and at a reasonable price. I for sure will use them again in the future.

Timothy moving team picked up my furniture and electronics from 2 different storage units and delivered it safely to my condo. He kept me updated along the way and ensured that I received my things on time. It was an amazing experience!

Jack and his group were outstanding. In general, everything moved forward well and fast. The teamwork of the packing crew ensured that the furniture made it there without a scratch. Jack was really proven a terrific task-assignment leader. I support them wholeheartedly!
