If you’re here, you’re probably considering working for this company. My experience with them wasn’t great in the end, but there are some positives worth mentioning. They maintain their equipment well, with new trucks and a clean HQ terminal that has showers, a parking lot, a gym, and a basketball court. The mechanics at the shop are fantastic, and the recruiter and safety team, especially Jose, are awesome. However, when it comes to loads and how they run you, it’s mostly spot market loads. You’ll find yourself picking up anything from recycling trash to paper rolls, and occasionally, you’ll get a preloaded trailer. The pay is low, and they keep you out for at least three weeks at a time, often without enough miles each week. They claim to have guaranteed pay, but they’ll find any excuse to avoid paying it. Despite my four years of experience, a hazmat endorsement, and a clean record, I was only paid $0.57 per mile with a forward-facing camera ($0.55 without). I heard some drivers were getting paid more, but I’m not sure how that works. I’m only sharing my experience. Overall, this company might be suitable for new drivers looking to gain experience or for someone who doesn’t care much about pay, miles, or home time. You can still make a decent living, but it’s not ideal if you’re seeking consistent and fair compensation.

Well run, well managed, and they are top notch all the way around. Everybody is nice and cordial. It's not hard to stay within company guidelines. Equipment is first rate. The pay needs to come up a tad only. Miles are on the 2500 to 2800 range. Could be higher to around 3000 to 3500. All and all I love this company.

Grabbing my final load with GP. It has been a pleasure and a delight. My fleet Manager has been great and this company has also been great. If I ever need to be back to doing Over The Road, I'll definitely attempt to come back here. GP Transco really is the best OTR trucking company that I have worked at. I deeply appreciate all the opportunities and experiences I have gained from GP. As well as the Wonderful people that I had the honor of meeting. Keep on trucking, stay safe out there.

As a current driver for GP Transco, I have to say that they’ve been a company of their word when it come to miles, honoring home time, respect, safety and communication. I really don’t have any negative to speak on. I will say I hope they get more dedicated accounts, and also the pay per mile is not satisfactory in my opinion, but I knew what I was getting into when I signed up

I was with the company for 3y 8m. I left the company for family reasons, with 2 week notice. But if I could have continued with the company, of course I would. In my experience, I must say that I quickly adapted to the environment since I agree with the culture and vision of this company. •I never had any problems with the truck, only having the PM done, and the occasional tire. •The facilities are very good, now with the new better furniture. The courtesy cars are a very good detail. •The messages and calls when weather conditions are dangerous on my route add a lot of value. And I would like to take this opportunity to thank: •My 2 dispatchers, Rocky K, and Miguel Angel. Even going out of their way to not make me wait between loads. Very professional and friendly. •Adam K, for keeping an eye on how I felt about the company and asking me for my opinions or comments on the matter. •The accounting team; I never had problems with any refund, even in difficult times. •My safety managers, Jolita, Michell, Karolina, always courteous, respectful and with a positive attitude. •The 24-hour team, always attentive and in good humor, like Salomon, Juan, Justin, James and Humberto. On my last day, I left a lot of my stuff for other drivers who might need those tools or equipment. At the end of the day, if we are a community, we do more. Thank you!
