I have never regretted anything more in my life than I have hiring this company. The worst experience & cost us THOUSANDS. They do not care who they hire or the damage they do. Also our estimate was extremely off. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Very unprofessional… first they showed up late & wearing sandles… I paid over $7000 for a full pack… we are military & have work & a baby so we needed help. The company promises everything will be packed safely & stored in a safe place & that any furniture they disassemble will be put back together by them upon delivery. Well before they even got the truck loaded they broke many things! Then on delivery day the new movers who delivered said they were very uncomfortable doing our job because it was so bad how they messed our stuff up and how they would not be paying them (the company they work for!) they unloaded our stuff and almost everything single thing we had was broken… the TV, the furniture, everything in the boxes, boxes were smashed some stuff was wet like my husband military uniforms & many items missing! They also lost all the hardware to our furniture so they couldn’t put anything at all back together & they even broke our washer & dryer. We even had mold on some items bec they got wet. They also tried to give us other peoples things! It was a nightmare and they cost us SO much time & money and they were not sorry in the least tried to just give us $800 and make us shut up and not say anything bad about them. Do NOT hire this company or Beast Moving LLC. They did not do what they promised.

Seriously, run from this company. They misrepresented their offering right up front. Billy, the sales person was an utter and complete liar. The company did not fulfill the job that we paid for. All we got were excuses and arguments. Also, they are a broker. And once you pay the initial fee, which they keep in full they basically disappear all of a sudden, become more argumentative, and difficult to work with. If you work with Greater American Moving Systems, it will create immense frustration and you’ll get nowhere dealing with the incompetent people at this company. And, don’t go with the broker in general. It may be more expensive to go with an actual moving company, but you’ll get a higher quality of service, more professionalism, and fewer issues.

They stole my gun, about 10 grand in painted warhammer figures and my dogs ashes. When I called about it they claimed I had none of those things and looked at the inventory sheet they made saying "boxes X 12, desk, mini fridge" they broke the desk btw. They also put music case instead of gun case that had my rifle in it. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, JUST GET A UHAUL.

I had Great American Moving System pack my furniture in a POD and then unpack it 2 weeks later. Both crews were very professional and took the greatest of care in ensuring that our furniture was not damaged. Also, because we had our hardwood floors refinished they were extremely careful to make sure that the furniture did not scratch our floors. In fact, they assisted us in putting protective pads under the furniture. I would definitely use their services again in the future!

No other way to describe these people other than they’re a scam. My son moved from Florida to NC. The moving day was agreed upon for a Friday as he was starting a job on the following Monday. He called Thursday to confirm and they told him they can’t be there until the following Tuesday. After going back and forth with the subterfuge they said for xtra $500 they can “expedite” and be there Sunday. Scam. They came Sunday with a rental Enterprise truck with his furniture totally mixed with other customers. Upon completion of the shabby work … damaged desk etc…missing was a new book shelf still in the box a mattress pad and an irreplaceable gift from friend made with memorabilia from Cooperstown. After going back and forth on the phone he drove an hour to meet the truck and retrieve his stuff Still missing is the shelf in the box and the Cooperstown stuff that is irreplaceable. So it’s either in someone else’s house, someone clipped it, or it was overlooked like the phone call they never made saying that they were Not Coming on the Agreed upon date. If you are looking for movers DO NOT use these people. Period
